Fantastic word game

The message was in a bottle that had been squeezed into a pipe, which was our first clue in the treasure hunt.

(My cousin Kathy, who has out of a job and out of money, stepped from her car, right onto four neatly folded $100 bills.)

Now that is a wonderful cause for celebration, if not grocery shopping and paying the skyrocketing electric bill!

Our first clue in the treasure hunt was a strategically placed love note from andreajesus which was left for all of us to decode because andrea will not be showing her face here again for 63 hours.

Andrea will not be showing her face here again for 63 hours was a falsehood started by those who would like to see her flirt with every male in TFWG instead of just with Raptus Regaliter.... ;)

Coincidental enough are the occasions when we see bloviating hot air machines who need money and attention, but thank heavens not a single member of our beloved TFWG fits into such a category.

The TFWG Charter provides, in part, that all band camp areas are for the solace and joy of members.

The solace and joy of members is, I believe, the main reason for the existance of the casino's loyalty club.

Or whatever it is the Indians call it. Player's club, high-roller's society, whatever. Doesn't make much difference to me because (A.) I usually try not to join clubs and (B.) I am currently $600 poorer than I was a few days ago. Time to throw in the towel (need to call the maid to-morrow before I take off), hit the road and get back over to the other side of the OR Cascades. The NAVTEX reception here sucks anyways, the fact notwithstanding that MW DXing is not really something somebody should undertake in a major hotel, with computer and TV noise all 'round, and expect to have grand results! This area in general is much too far away to get a reliable signal.

That's right: to-morrow I'll be calling into this board from the OR coast. l8r daze.....

Band camp members will be up late tonight and gathered around the big screen televisions at 11:30 because Betty White is hosting Saturday Night Live.

I'll be watching. ;D

Betty White is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight and I hope they do a Mary Tyler Moore skit with Mary, Lou, Ted, Murry ,and of course Sue Ann Nivens.

Sue Ann Nivens was a character played by actress Betty White, among other characters Ms. White portrayed in such television programmes as The Golden Girls, Mama's Family and Malcolm In The Middle.

[size=8pt]Greetz from Manzanita! I've got to get down to the beach now before it starts raining (not supposed to until Monday night, but this is the Oregon coast. ;o)[/b]

From 2000-2006, I developed the habit to avoid anything that happened to show on the Fox Network.

(I spent the better part of the afternoon at a dance recital. Not much has changed, not the costumes, not the music, and in the midst of all that mediocrity in every group two little girls stand out: The one who is talented and the one who is most egregiously not.)

The FOX Network doesn't really have much for me to watch except NFL Football, ML Baseball, NASCAR and House.

Since then we have never worried about turning counterfeiters over to PowerWorld for analysis and handling.

Analysis and Handling reports that Betty White did a fantastic hosting job on SNL tonight which brought back alot of old cast faves to help her out including Ana Gasteyer, Molly Shannon, Tina Fey, Poehler, Maya Rudolph, and Rachel Dratch.

Loved Ana's and Molly's reprise of their NPR Delicious Dish segment with Betty playing Florence Dusty bringing in her Dusty Muffins. It was almost as good as Alec Baldwin's 'Schweddy Balls' segment a few years ago. Best lines: "Bakers from me era had dry or crusty muffins" and "My muffin hasn't had a cherry since 1939". ;D

Ana Gasteyer, Molly Shannon, Tina Fey, Poehler, Maya Rudolph, and Rachel Dratch may now be seen in SNL, which seemed less amusing than I remember, but then I haven't watched in years.
