Fantastic word game

Better ratings bring increased revenue which means higher profit margins making for happier investors and shareholders and when it comes to our broadcasting properties, that's all we really care about anyway.

Olivia Newton-John in mind is not where our sights are set, as Saturday is down to earth day, when we do the yard sale-ing or thrift shopping thing, because after all if we were not to be trusted with the task of the little band camper's well being we would not have been graced by their presence at just the right time.

"Going postal" might have to eventually be replaced with a more generic "going to work," since today's episode was in a cookie plant, and there are daily reported other instances of workplace violence done by employees against other employees.

Employees who are disgruntled often make the news when they act out violently against fellow workers or their employers but what I would like to know is if you have ever heard of a gruntled employee?

A gruntled employee was certainly not me when I was still working in the restaurant industry.

[size=8pt]Except on that one magical day each month when the new CD-I disc from Muzak came in the mail. New disc in, old disc out. This inevitably meant that, with the aid of ISO Buster and PSM-Play, my personal Adult Contemporary collection would be expanded by another eight hours' worth at a time!

Some of the MP2 ports I have made from those discs still get a lot of play in the truck. A few of them I have heard so many times that, given the opportunity, I could probably set aside eight hours of my day and sing one of them all the way through, from memory. ;o)

When I was still working in the restaurant industry, I wished I worked in radio again, but these days I'd take either of those or pretty much any other option that came along.

Any other option that came along would find us still happily toiling away in the library and lounge.

Happily toiling away in the library and lounge goes quicker when listening to Olivia Newton-John on a transistor radio.

A transistor radio, neatly tucked under the pillow, was often the absolute best way to listen to radio on a clear, summer night or a wide open, clear winter night.

Did you ever wonder why the sky seems so much bigger in the winter than in the summer?

On a clear, summer night or a wide open, clear winter night is the best time to see far into the atmosphere.

It's probably because the winter air plays tricks on your mind Silkie. There's bound to be a meteorological explanation for it, like heated air having different properties than colder air, but I slept through most of my Meteorology 101 class in college.
I did notice that Olivia Newton-John has been in Yahoo's Trending Today Top 10 list this afternoon. #1 at one point.

Far into the atmosphere our fancies and dreams climb like a morning glory along the rungs of Jacob's ladder, until we behold the majesty of the heavens.

Our Earth-bound experience involves listening to the lovely Olivia Newton-John, posting on The FWG, Facebook and playing the greatest hits of the 80s and having a beer.

Fridays lineup, which Illusions needs to get a clue, includes Rush, Scorpions, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Sammy Hagar, Collective Soul, Soul Asylum, and of course Robert Palmer, Men Without Hats and Howard Jones.
