Fantastic word game

The morning meetings are finished, so get your butts back to work.

Memo to all: after today I will be absent for a few days while I undergo a little medical thingy. I should be back on board Monday if not sooner. In the meantime I will try to post early and often today to help compensate for any loss of productivity in my absence.

Work work work, and get as much accomplished as possible, because the weekend is upon us, and we are looking forward to those balmy, evening temps in the low 70s holding steady.

Games People Play (They Just Can't Stop It) is the title of a song, but holds a truth that cannot be denied, that truth being that you can wander about with your tongue hanging out, sweating it up in fleece in the heat and humidity, like an animal in heat, but that is not what we are all about.

Sex and morning meetings? Huh?

What we are all about likely doesn't include giving our whereabouts every waking moment of the day to the biggest $courges in the nation these days, the U.$. Federal Government Corp., Inc. and its bed partners, Goog£e and Micro$oft.

[size=8pt]At least, not in *Darth_vader's* computer centre. Remember, always turn your mobile completely OFF (remove the battery and SIM if you need to, this helps defeat the mobile's GPS transceiver thus decreasing surveillance) before entering! I'm working to get that added into the University's forthcoming 2012 Manual of Standard Procedure.

The biggest $courges in the nation these days, the U.$. Federal Government Corp., Inc. and its bed partners, Goog£e and Micro$oft, are not sponsoring dmargalotti's medical stay but, nevertheless, we've arranged for the lovely library interns to make a visit to his hospital room on Saturday to read to him.

And I'm not talking about books and newspapers. The interns will be coming by with any accumulated memos and such plus updates on the holiday weekend band camp move-in. Since you won't be available to help out, some of the administrative staff will pick up the slack. And you don't need to be back until Tuesday, dm, unless you feel the need to come back sooner.

Read to him all you want but if the nurses are cute, he will not be paying attention to a single word they are saying.

I will try to check in over the weekend to keep tabs on what's happening at band camp. If I am unable, I may appoint an underling or two to give me updates and keep me in the loop. I should be back in some form of limited capacity by Monday. That is assuming all goes well and there are no unexpected complications of medical malfeasance.

Saying that and doing that are two completely different things but I remind you that Monday is a corporate holiday and you do not need to come back on that day.

Radio has been a tough business these last couple of years what with layoffs and consolidations but dmargalotti has managed to persevere in the face of adversity.

Radio-Info.com is accessible even on a Wi-Fi train ride, so long as you have a weekday seat in business class.

Drat, and double drat, I say!

The face of adversity takes many forms, but those who weather it usually demonstrate a great peace of soul and spirit that cannot be acted out with soft tones or shifting variances of gimmickry.

Gimmickry doesn't hold any water during Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfests every Saturday at Illusions because what you're hearing is the real deal.

It's my understanding that, if Dave from Dave & Kenny isn't able to make the Rockfest Saturday night, that Miss Silkie will be filling in.

The real deal is better than a raw deal which is what you'd get if you showed up at Illusions and you saw Dave without Kenny or Kenny without Dave but just in case either one is otherwise indisposed, there is no doubt Miss Silkie could get the job done with class and style.

Class and Style is how Miss Silkie and Dave will do the show this weekend, as I will be in San Francisco to watch The Giants play the D'Backs on Friday, then on Saturday watch The Fresno State Bulldogs play Cal Berkeley at Candlestick Park.
