Many times before we have induced posting by more than two people during the course of a day by threatening liberty and justice for all here at the FWG.
Here at the FWG there continues to be a cadre of regular contributors, untold numbers of lurkers and the occasional appearance of others, some of whom are not seen for weeks or months at a time.
A good meal and a tasty tidbit or two are always available in the lounge, along with a wonderful fruit smoothie or tea with homegrown honey now that autumn is upon us.
Now that autumn is upon us and the weather lends itself toward more indoor activities there is a good chance that there will be less lurking and more posting!
Thanks for the hearts and flowers, Silkie and WMC!
Less lurking and more posting will hopefully occur as the weather grows colder and people realize what fun they are missing by not being here day after day.
Gorgeous weather here on Cape Cod. Got me some color today. Gonna get me some more color tomorrow.
Our appreciation for Olivia Newton-John apparently extends to Muzak, as whomever had their satellite receivers set to Foreground Music One would have probably heard "Magic" playing about ten minutes ago.
[size=8pt]But they still managed to make it sound sloppy. ONJ's song was sandwiched between a Chantal Kreviazuk cut and one of John Mayer's newer cuts. Can we say "train wreck"? ;o)
@WMC--
There was a little bit of colour (you forgot the "U"!) this afternoon in Casselton but it was mostly overcast, and it's sprinkling a little bit right now. Looks like they're predictiong 80% chance of rain to-morrow here, and the same for back in Vancouver. (I hear it was nice there to-day.) So between the two forecasts, it looks like it'll be nice and wet for the rest of my trip home. Jeez.
Nurse Dixie McCall was not one of the nurses we dismissed during the sudden band camp outbreak of the dreaded bowangi disease during the fall, winter, spring and early summer sessions.
In fact the Fun Department voted unanimously to keep her around, on accounta she was able to perform her duties and party right along with all the kids who managed to be on the scene every time she arrived for her rounds. She became the head nurse at the band camp nurse's station.
The fall, winter, spring and early summer sessions are already more than 75% maxed in prepaid attendance but there is still room for a few more kiddies and we expect to be at 100% capacity just like we always are.
A long weekend allows for Fall cleaning around the library, so that we can be all ready for the upcoming big deal holidays, like Thanksgiving, Chanukkah, Christmas and New Year's Eve and Day.
