Fantastic word game

There's no gossips and busybodies here, because we know how pathetic failures who are gossips and busybodies look even worse when they are pretending to try to clean their rooms, but successful people keep sending them messages in bottles.

Perk up your ears by spending the weekend shucking some stuff into the garbage so that you have time to watch Colonel (kernel) Klink on Hogan's Heroes.

That's called one-upping---actually two-upping---the International Director of Band Camp. Plus bringing us back to tv shows. Certainly earlier than 80s tv shows but still. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hogan's Heroes was one of the shows I watched after school back in the early 70s, and it also starred Richard Dawson who was on Match Game, and was the most famous host of Family Feud.

It was 93 degrees today, and the forecast indicated the maybe this Indian Summer is finally over, it was 63, with snow in the near by mountains just 8 days ago, now we will go down to the late 70s for the next week.

Family Feud is probably one of my least favorite games shows because I could never understand how when one person gave a totally stupid answer, the rest of his or her family would support them by yelling "good answer, good answer".

That would NEVER happen in my family. If you give a stupid answer, we are going to let you know it for sure!

The human spirit, at least this one, is doing normal kinds of things today, such as enjoying the leaves gently floating on the breeze until they land on our own little golden pond and gracefully drift between glistening diamonds, dancing in the sunshine.

Dancing in the sunshine happened last week at the Cape but this weekend I'm hanging around doing errands and stuff.

A bit breezy today but plenty of sunshine. A beautiful fall day. I could easily do the beach again but oh well.

Errands and stuff become necessary when you discover that you donated the brand new electric blankie to the church bazaar.

The good Lord must have needed it at the time for me to be so apparently absent-minded.

For a good cause our campers and camperettes always step up to the plate with a warm blankie, coat or sweater, or even a can of veggies, a box of fresh saltines or a tasty treat, since those matter too.

Since those matter too, we have extra supplies of those items at all band camp locations should any of our kiddies forget them or if they don't have the resources to have them.
