Fantastic word game

Event-filled courtrooms are not necessarily the trial of the century, especially when the defense puts on exhibits that are so idiotic that even the stupidest jury doesn't buy them, which speaks volumes of pathetic excuses like, "I was jealous of a post, and just wanted to have some fun".

To have some fun with the lovely young library interns is perfectly acceptable as long as certain boundaries are maintained.

I know we're all adults here but let's face it, there is someone we all know (no names) who has on occasion come dangerously close to crossing those boundaries so the Band Camp Legal Department asked me to pass along that little reminder. If anyone feels like they need additional clarification, please stop by my office to schedule a meeting.

Maintained decorum at PowerWorld staff meetings can be a bit tedious and cumbersome, especially when we have to review year old material to remind people of which came first, the contest, the song, the winner, the name repetition or the onslaught, which means we go nowhere.

Nowhere to go and nobody to talk to is pretty much what will be happening to me if I cross those boundaries established by the PW Legal Department.

This thread is wondering where quadraphonic is since he has not posted a contribution since June 23rd.

I was not aware of him asking for time off but I did notice that the pile of TPS reports on his desk is getting bigger by the day.

June 23 was Saturday, which means that quadraphonic might have simply gone on vacation where he can't be bothered with a computer while slathering himself with suntan lotion.

While slathering himself with suntan lotion, I'm sure he's thinking about taking the family on a topless drive later this afternoon if he really is on vacation as you suggest.

Suggest driving with the top up, and the a/c on until you get to the library or the lounge if you are traveling east from the midwest at the same rate of speed as the weather.

The weather forecast for this side of the Cascades indicates that it'd be conducive to heading east down I-84 with all the windows pulled down to-morrow.

[size=8pt]Time to make the annual pilgrimmage to Pendleton, case of Orangina in tow and Sonic the Hedgehog on the laptop. The Genesis/Mega Drive version this time, in an emulator. Going to go hard-core now! And, of course, being unemployed means I can stay longer if I so desire. Staying at my great-Aunt/Uncle's property over there means I won't have to pay anything for lodging, thankfully. Not as nice as the Red Lion, but I can't be picky. (The DXing's a little better there, too, than it is at the RL; not as much noise around me.)

Oh, and look at this bit that Reno posted last night, whom we've stationed over there:

Apparently he has it all set up and going! He'll be the sysop at the Pendleton satellite and will relocate to the area full-time, basically doing the same thing I do here.

Heading east down I-84 with all the windows pulled down to-morrow sounds like a good thing to do on a lazy, hazy, summer day and hopefully at the end of your trip you'll get to cool off in a lake, pool, or ocean.

Relatable to all of us, quadraphonic is much missed around here so I hope he's just relaxing on vacation and that nothing serious is going on.

Or maybe his puter went kablooey again. I've picked up the TPS Reports from his desk and will take care of them first thing tomorrow. He has no recent posts on Facebook either.
