Fantastic word game

Kind of variety would have been a better beginning clue to work with if quad had included "that" as well but since he didn't I'm just going to have to work with what he left me.

He left me with an awkward clue on purpose, because dmargalotti is out to get me.

I was thinking of 'kind of variety' in terms of a radio format or a 60s tv show or something like that. If someone had left it for me, I would have surely mentioned Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick, but since they didn't I just did that anyway, because it was time.

dmargalotti is out to get me because there have been reports from our various band camp locations that you've been turning a blind eye to some of WMC's shenanigans.

Come on quad, when it's your turn to watch him you've got to do the right thing.

Some of WMC's shenanigans we all have to turn a blind eye to, because if we acknowledge some of them (and you know which shenanigans I'm talking about--the one that people talk about gouging their eyes out for after he returns from Florida with the banana hammock, for instance), then it will just make him think that when he did those things he was awake, and we've found that if he thinks things happened in a dream, he tends to repeat them less repeatedly.

I hope he doesn't read this though. I might have just let the cat out of the bag, mightn't I've?

Less repeatedly have been mentions of Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick so for the sake of the newbies who've recently begun posting here at The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) please allow me to point out the we are hardcore, die hard admirers of those two lovely ladies and anyone who mentions them in a positive manner while posting here will get a few extra tasty treats from Miss Silkie at supper time.

Homemade meatloaf is one of my specialties because what I like to do is coat the meatloaf with a layer of seasoned breadcrumbs and then about 10 minutes before it's ready to come out of the oven I cover the top of it with a lot of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Shredded mozzarella cheese is also one of the wonderful cheeses that go into our famous cheese-stuffed shells, while the primary cheese is extra sharp cheddar when we make our broccoli cheese bites, which are also world renowned.

World renowned for all the wrong reasons, I'm putting my banana hammock back into the closet until all the hoohah dies down.

Gosh, and here I thought I had kept that under wraps. You just never know these days. ::)

Rocking out to the "back in the day" classics is partly a prerequisite when it's "pop/country music mix night" at Illusions.

Seriously, ask MarcB, that actually happens over there periodically.

Many of us have attended Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfests but we generally don't like to be seen at Illusions for more than two weeks in a row.

Two weeks in a row some drunken hoople at Illusions came up to the DJ booth where Kenny and I were working our magic and insisted that we play Disco Duck.

There was just no way that was going to happen...not even if he paid us!

Disco Duck is a classic that will last forever on wax, and therefore a musical force to be reckoned with.

My parents had the album. And Rick Dees started his career in Greensboro. Those are actually the only ties I have to the song.

To be reckoned with are the people who request songs like Disco Duck, Convoy, and The Night Chicago Died when Kenny and I are trying to make the scene and raise the roof on Illusions.
