Fantastic word game

Plumb out of luck, to say nothing of money, would be a pretty good way to describe them what, to this day, does the stock options thingy, borrows and deals with the margin call that gets there much faster with modern technology.

Grow and prosper are exactly what we strive to do right here, following Teddy Roosevelt's sage advice, "You must do what you can, with what you have, where you are", and so we stay out of jackpots.

We stay out of jackpots but more importantly, we do our best to avoid crackpots.

Wow Miss Silkie, you're keeping me on my toes today with your flurry of posting activity!

Crackpots on the streets will attempt whatever is necessary to get your attention and sell their wares, whether it be physical goods or some type of message.

Message of the day for some on other boards is that we did attempt to advise them not to discuss their work if they wanna stay outa trouble.

But I digress to the jackpot deal, wondering if they pay attention in their annoyances.

Their employers tell the workers to remain "gainfully employed" but some of the workers need to be informed that "gainful" does not mean that they can steal office supplies.

Steal office supplies such as pens and paper clips and they might look the other way but they won't be so accommodating when it gets to office furniture, printers, and the entire employee directory.

Office furniture, printers, and the entire employee directory made a nice bonfire after our CEO absconded with all our cash and we couldn't afford to pay the heating bill and the heat got turned off, but unfortunately the printers, even though they burned, left a big puddle of melted plastic on the floor.

WMC, you and I don't always make it easy, do we? :D

A big puddle of melted plastic on the floor was quickly cleaned up by the janitorial staff, who are sworn to secrecy regarding any cleanup at the PowerWorld offices, because we don't like snitches.

Like snitches, certain people decided to reply bragging about their destruction of Power World property (computer peripherals--printers, in this case) which apparently was allowed to happen without my prior knowledge or authorisation.

[size=8pt]@LARadioRewind --
An investigation was conducted by one of our associates and an inventory of the damaged equipment was taken. Long story short, the bill for the replacement of six destroyed Canon colour laser printers (to the tune of a hearty $18 672--those printers ain't cheap, you know) will be sent to your office tomorrow morning. You will have until the 28th to post or hand-deliver the payment (in full) to the Clackamas campus accountant (Dan W.), otherwise your wages will be forfeited until the total is collected by us.

Effective immediately, you are also expressly prohibited from logging into or using any Power World (including FWG University) computer equipment (including peripherals) without direct visual supervision of an official PW/FWGU computer attendant for one full year from this date. Your working directory on wgnet has been locked out as a result and a temporary RAM file has been set up for you.

Without my prior knowledge or authorisation (or authorization as some prefer), Darth went ahead and made the first early morning contribution but since we are all on the same team and considering the fact that he is large enough to beat me silly, I will just thank him for his post and keep things moving along.

Moving along as we always do, Darth's contribution was of the 'overnight' variety rather than 'early morning' because, as we all know per the PW rules and regulations, 'early morning' begins at 5am.

Still relevant are posts about band camp, TPS reports, Megan McCormick, Olivia Newton-John and many other topics although we should probably hold off on the posts about topless driving until it gets a lot warmer.

Until it gets a lot warmer we shall continue to bake vicariously during our daily vocabular quest.
