Fantastic word game

One angry little mind would probably be seized up if they missed a chance to see Megan McCormick, but hopefully the good part of their mind would win out and they would remember that there's still a chance to meet Megan McCormick, or even Olivia Newton-John.

To make it look like they're selling cocaine, savvy drug fiends will use Sudafed tablets, thus the reason why many drugstores require approval before purchase.

The freebie counter spent all day on the job and managed to count 32,437 freebies before quitting time, and this feat was made all the more impressive by the freebie counter's refusal to use a calculator or an adding machine.
 
Beginning this morning when I signed in to make my usual early morning contribution I reviewed the previous page of posts and saw that scanman1 had properly replied to a post by LA but then their was another post by scanman1 that followed with clues which apparently were not used in any previous post so I'm thinking there must have been some error in the system because it doesn't make sense to me.

And since Darth has gone completely MIA we can't call upon him to sort this mess out.
 
It doesn't make sense to me either so we'll have to see if it sorts itself out or maybe scanman has a good reason for it.
 
Maybe scanman has a good reason for it or not but either way I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because up to now he has been a play-by-the-rules kind of guy.

Hoagy Carmichael could have written a song about how some new user signed up last night, posted a contribution to the Fantastic Word Game ending in "the garden" after my first nighttime contribution, and, for some reason, their post has been deleted. ???
 
Deleted contributions between your two posts, scanman1 would certainly explain what happened last night and I figure there had to be more to the story than what I was seeing on my computer screen which is why I told our Game Czar that he needed to make sure he had all his facts straight before admonishing you for something that wasn't your fault.
 
Admonishing you for something that wasn't your fault is something that some of us might know a bit about.
