Fantastic word game

More of them might join us if they could submit contributions via text message.

Of course if that happened you would probably see a whole lot of abbreviated text language such as "IDK", 'BFF", "LOL", "ROTFLMFAO" and "BBFN".

Text message speak would wreck the FWG, because it's nigh on impossible to start a fresh, new, comprehensible sentence over and over again with lol, smh, and similar txtspeak as the bolded clue.

I resisted the lure of ending that sentence with txtspeak, and boy let me tell ya, just from dipping my foot near that water I could feel a little bit of historic history dying.

The bolded clue in this game has evolved from being just a single word to any part of the end of the sentence and that simple change seems to have been instrumental to the game's success even though early on it was met with some resistance.

Some resistance may be experienced if Bob Rivers suggests that you not throw up on his shoes what yer gonna lose.

A cool country song about losin' weight will probably be a tie-in when they try to mesh the often-popular "unscripted" talent shows with the "unscripted" weight-loss competition shows.

Gain all of your weight back again by eating a lot of Miss Silkie's Tasty Treats and then you can diet again to lose the weight just so you can fatten up all over again on her edible concoctions.

The bear's claw proved to be much better than the mechanical claw when it comes to snatching up stuffed animals from the claw machine in the lobby of the restaurant, and the bear was able to abscond with all his winnings because nobody in the restaurant dared to try to stop an animal who had enough strength to rip off the top of the claw machine.

Some of my posts, such as this one, could be turned into a cartoon, don'tcha think?

To rip off the top of the claw machine at Illusions, just wait until Saturday night when Dave & Kenny are playing some of their loud 80s music and then do it when no one can hear anything.

The loom better be finished by end of business today because, otherwise, it's gonna sit there all weekend long until Monday.

And Thank Goodness it's Friday (TGIF as we all prefer).

Keith Moon or John Bonham were not on our list of invitees for the rock fest, but they may be rockin' nevertheless in Rock & Roll Heaven.

"Rock & Roll Heaven" was song by the Righteous Brothers who are probably best know for their version of Unchained Melody which was featured prominently in the movie, Ghost which was released in 1990.

Released in 1990, MC Hammer's album "Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em" and apparently it was a reference to all the people he was throwing down on while jamming in his Hammer pants.
