Fantastic word game

Temperatures in the low teens and even lower is something we've endured several times this winter as well as several snowstorms, another of which we received today in the form of about 6-10 inches, depending on where you live.

Note to board members: I head back to sunny Florida this coming Sunday. Hopefully, Mother Nature is getting all of the snowstorms out of the way and it will be clear sailing for takeoff. DMargalotti is in charge if he wants to be. If not, it will be Miss Silkie, if she wants to be. If not, we may end up with scanman or LARR running amuck through the Game Czar's corner office all week long.

Bread, milk, and eggs do not make the best French Toast if you do not have all natural, pure vanilla extract and cinnamon, although toast, milk and eggs separately might serve as a pretty decent breakfast.

"The greatest hits of the 70's and 80's" is the positioner of many classic hits stations.

The ideal classic hits station for myself would begin with music from the mid-fifties and end with the late eighties.

Many classic hit stations include some 60's in their mix along with 70's and 80's such as those records played by Kenny & Dave, and thankfully they encourage the Illusions patrons to dance rather than ride the mechanical bull with all of whatever it has.

The mechanical bull with all of whatever it has is almost impossible for anyone to ride for more than three or four seconds and yet people still wait in line in order to pay a couple of bucks to get on the bull and then get thrown off after the bull gives a couple of bucks.

See what I did there? Yee-hawww! .

A ride on the bus got me to grade school (nursery school through 6th grade) and then I had to walk to the much closer junior high school for 7th and 8th grades.

Remember when there were junior high schools?? Ours eventually became a middle school for, I think, 6th through 8th or something. Just last year, the old junior high/middle school was torn down after the new middle school was opened.

And, hey guys, just 9 pages to go until Page 3,000! We can do it!!!!!!!!!!

7th and 8th grades were certainly among my favorites.

Those were the grades during which I started taking a real interest in girls, music and the hobby of radio; and, because of that, were quite enjoyable.

My favorites are manifold, depending upon the topic, but rest assured they do not include ne'er do wells from that lousy band camp, although we do keep a detailed journal, even of different, but rarer look alike models.

The originals are, nevertheless the originals, and we accept no counterfeits or substitutes, which are not so priceless except when counterfeits and attempts at substitution meet their end.

When counterfeits and attempts at substitution meet their end, the real thing endures, unless, when you say "the real thing," you're referring to Coca-Cola, which will eventually go flat.

Go flat against the wall and maybe you'll find my original contribution which I have since deleted because LARR posted a moment or two ahead of me, initially using the wrong clue, and then editing and correcting it, after I made my own edit, all of which caused much confusion and consternation amongst the masses.

Watch a little television and you just might catch an episode of Globe Trekker with Megan McCormick but if it's not being shown locally where you live, you can always borrow my collection which has every episode on DVD.

Every episode on DVD indicates a loyalty that is unsurpassed in the annals of TV viewing history, and that is why we have devoted entire wings of the library to Megan and Olivia.

Megan and Olivia have both told me that they will meet up with me during my Florida vacation so we can spend some beach time together if their schedules permit and if DMargalotti doesn't take up all of their free time.

On vacation as of end of business yesterday. Head to Florida on Sunday. DMargalotti, who has not turned down the chance to be in charge next week as far as I know, please pop into my office in a couple of hours so I can give you a rundown on things happening next week. Thanks muchly.
