Fantastic word game

I possibly can take a long bike ride this weekend since the weather will be nice!

I'll also be spending Easter Sunday with family enjoying what may be the warmest Easter we've had in eons!

Some topless driving is definitely going on around band camp as I take a leisurely stroll throughout the grounds today.

Throughout the grounds today I found several tiny bugs and that will be the last time I leave the lid off the coffee jar overnight.

Many prophecies were fulfilled by Christ's birth. Many more were fulfilled by His death and resurrection. Always remember John 3:16---and have a happy Easter, everyone!

Overnight, there is generally very little movement here at TFWG (TFWG as most everyone prefers) except for the occasional contribution from Kenny and/or scanman.

Right now, I'm at Illusions listening to the end of Kenny's soundcheck before the 80s Rockfest starts a-rockin' at 8pm. Miss Silkie is here with some tasty tidbits and I hear Dave might actually make a special guest appearance.

Kenny and/or scanman does like to post here overnight, especially on the weekend.

Yes, we're getting ready to rock the house at Illusions, the people are coming in groves, the line at the mechanical bull is already long.

The Joint was rockin' tonight and a few were being smoked in the parking lot by some for 420, now it's time to visit Denny's for a early breakfast.

Maybe Marc and Rodent will be there, and Silkie, that word association game from 2010 , I forgot about that one, talk about a flashback, wow that was awesome, Happy Easter everyone and you all have an awesome day!!!

For a (or an) early breakfast, I'd like eggs, sausages, hash browns, bacon, and some more hash browns please.

No, Miss Silkie, I had not noticed you brought the Word Association game back. I don't recall being a huge fan of that particular game. I'll have to peruse the archives to see how much I may have participated in that one.

And I noticed someone started a new game, a Song Name game, and more people have played that game than have bothered coming here in the last 3 days. Even at least 4 of you (dm, scanman, Miss Silkie, LARR) have spent more time there than coming here. Apparently, TFWG has worn itself out. So sad after 7 years of work.

So, I went ahead and resurrected the Choice Game as well. Might as well call us Mr and Miss YezIKnoRadio. ;)

That just leaves the old Impossible Trivia Game in the junk pile. Anyone wanna play the role of LVRJ and take the time to do that one?? I nominate LARR. In fact, I think LARR might actually be LVRJ in disguise. I don't think we've ever seen the two of them in the same room together.

"Please Mr. Please" don't play B-17 was a big hit in 1975 by The Lovely Olivia Newton-John.

There's a new Song Name game?, I gotta check it out.

The lovely Olivia Newton-John has had a very successful career as a pop singer and as a country singer but she likes pop much better than country, especially diet pop.

In many regions, soda is more commonly known as pop. I went regional with that post. And no, Mister WMC, I am not LVRJ...or a member of the LPGA...or a student at LSU...or any other "L" identities. But while I'm here, how about another Fun Factoid: In the United States, a hill is considered to be a mountain if it is at least 1000 feet high. In the UK, a mountain has to be at least 2000 feet high.

[I[Diet[/I] pop, while probably better for you, does not taste as good as the regular stuff, in my humble little opinion.

The band camp Easter egg hunt was a rousing success. The employee Easter egg hunt, held later on, was an even bigger success. scanman was just all giddy and stuff to have found the most eggs. Good job, scanman. Way to push dmargalotti out of the way while diving for that last egg. I'm sure he was just fine after dusting himself off.

In my humble little opinion, I messed up the bolding on my previous contribution's beginning clue which was, of course, LARR's ending clue.

Hey LARR, what are the mountain parameters for Canada?

LARR's ending clue is always a great way to begin a new contribution.

I've actually posted the same number of contributions here lately as I've posted to the Song Name Game since it began! ;)

A great way to begin a new contribution is by following the rules and using the full bolded ending contribution from the previous clue.

Scanman, thank you for your usual diligence and participation and loyalty. :)

The full bolded ending contribution from the previous clue only occasionally presents a serious challenge, as a result of somebody applying the bold feature in the middle of a phrase.

Though I must say that I feel much bette(r) about ou(r) little game when I see the c(r)ap gramma(r) in that "Defy you debt". Is the punchline the ('r') in (r)elief or what? That still leaves one out there to be found. But hey, adve(r)tising dollahs are adve(r)tising dollahs; and in this economy ya take 'em whe(r)e you can get 'em. Pe(r)haps some (r)emedial education in the lib(r)ary might be useful.

Applying the bold feature in the middle of a phrase is billed as an error when trying to build a sentence and could result in a bald-faced attempt to get everything all balled up, if I may be so bold as to say so.

Today I'm a little bolder---does that make me a rock? By the way, Mister WMC, in Canada a hill is considered to be a mountain if it is at least 500 meters high. That's 1640 feet.

If I may be so bold as to say so, Miss Silkie, I really had no clue what you were talking about up above.

LARR, what's the difference between a mountain and a molehill?

Up above me is my pet goldfish and now I'm wondering how he ever learned to fly.

Mister WMC, people often say "You're making a mountain out of a molehill" but such a feat is not possible. If there were billions of molehills, it might be possible to make a mountain out of them...but I don't really see much value in doing so.
