Fantastic word game

Last night the last knight wanted to take part in a joust but, since there were no other knights, he wound up having to find another activity to take part in, something that could last all night.

Today's relevant Fun Factoid will make a lot of you happy: The biggest number-one hit of the 1980s was Olivia Newton-John's Physical, the only song of the decade to be number one for ten weeks.
 
All night last night Illusions was rockin' with a packed crowd.

Side note to LARR's Fun Factoid about "Physical", that song held "Waiting For a Girl Like You" by Foreigner to number two for 10 weeks making it , i believe still, the longest Number 2 song not to get to Number One, Hall and Oates "I Can't Go For that" was the other Number one song holding "Waiting" to #2.

Incredible tv ratings are expected around the world for coverage of The World Cup taking place in Brazil although in this country more TV viewers will probably be watching something else.
 
Watching something else, or nothing at all, is usually what happens when one has to add cowboys to the ignore list for personal garbage messages from from one of those junk band camps
 
Junk band camps often attract investment bankers who don't read the advertisements very carefully and mistakenly believe that they will be attending a camp devoted to junk bonds.
 
A little paper cut is an injury that does not bother one at first, but then it gets sore, and then the wounded person forgets that he ever had it, all in a matter of a day or two.
 
A day or two from now, we'll have an afternoon meeting in my corner office regarding daylong band camp activities and volunteering opportunities for the July 4th holiday weekend.

PowerWorld will be closed Friday July 4th. Band camp will be open all day as usual.
 
The July 4th holiday weekend is always a lot of fun for me and my wife because I get to shoot off my mouth and she wears her hair in bangs.

As we have learned over the years, the Fantastic Word Game (also known as "The Fantastic Word Game") originally allowed each contributor to put only the first word and last word in boldface but now it is much more common for someone to write an elaborate rambling convoluted sentence and put several words in boldface.

And I don't need to name names---you guys know who you are!
 
Write an elaborate rambling convoluted sentence and put several words in boldface and turn it in as part of a news story and you are likely to get an angry glance or worse from an editor (which I am, by trade) who, if he's worth his salt, will then edit your sorry excuse for a sentence down to a half dozen concise, well-chosen words.
 
A half dozen concise, well-chosen words is not enough for me to express my shock and surprise that someone other than LARR, scanman, Miss Silkie, dmargalotti, myself, Kenny, or crainbebo actually dropped by and left a contribution.

CTListener, thank you so much for contributing. I'm reasonably sure you've been here before. It's obvious you know now to play. We thank you very much for coming in. And I would ask (actually beg, plead, implore) that you make this a regular thing, like, say, at least once a day rather than this being a one and done. We thank you. :)
