Fantastic word game

Selfies were added to the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary in 2014 as a noun with the explanation that it is an informal term, and I might add a polite term.
 
Our good friends in the pharmaceutical industry have all kinds of polite terms applied to them, but only in polite company when politeness is called for; the rest of the time we apply other terminology.
 
A blank expression on my face would be replaced by awe when a bald eagle caught the eyes in the back of my head, so to speak, in the stillness of an afternoon when I could also hear its wings as it took flight.
 
As it took flight, the captain of the Hindenburg said to his navigator (in German of course), "Boy, we'll have a real hot time when we get to New Jersey!"

Oh, the humanity!
 
New Jersey band camp associates were very happy to see dmargalotti when he popped in unexpectedly on his way home from yet another international band camp excursion.

My apologies for my absences. I am still dealing with a family illness that has had me preoccupied. Please keep your fingers crossed and prayers going. Thanks!
 
Yet another international band camp excursion has come and gone, this time to Mexico, where the intrepid musicians learned all about mariachi, norteno, banda, and Montezuma's Revenge.
 
Montezuma's Revenge can usually be cured by drinking liquid and eating soup.

Horrible! Hope none of y'all ever has to experience that!

Soup and sandwiches will be served for lunch today immediately following a mandatory management at which we will discuss plans for this year's Christmas party and determine staff Christmas bonuses.

Christmas bonuses at the band camp theater include the full feature film, Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus, starring Edward Asner, Charles Bronson, and Richard Thomas, not the cartoon that everyone is expected to just accept, adapt to and tolerate in its stead.

In its stead stood the stupendous Christmas tree held steady by it's stand, ready to be adorned for a stunning display.

Hey, did anyone else notice that we've now surpassed 1 million views? One million! That's huge! Gotta be a record I tell ya', it's just gotta be.
 
Warm weather, considering the time of year, is holding its own here in central Massachusetts.

But it's still early so ya never know. All those blizzards we had last winter started in January. Meanwhile, that family health issue is much improved but there's a long road ahead. I and Mama WMC (Mom as I prefer) thank you for your prayers.
 
Central Massachusetts, for many, is a place to pass through on the way to and from New York on the Massachusetts Turnpike.

As is much of Connecticut, or, as some refer to it, the "Are We There Yet" State.
