The Merrie Melodies crowd apparently had a long running feud with the folks from Hanna-Barbera.
Among others, Gavin seems to be the greatest friend I have ever had because he is not a freeloader the way The Rodent was.
When Gavin and I went to Denny's he paid me for his half of the meal. When we go to Philly this spring we're splitting the cost. He even insists on paying his own way when we go to the Yankees-Redsox game and that's supposed to be his birthday present. He's was upset when I gave him $10 for gas money for a ride home from work. He'll probably be really mad when he finds out I'm getting him a custom NY Giants Jersey for his birthday. It costs $150!!! The Rodent was possibly getting under SWAT Cat's skin, so self-restrained and cool as she is, any time something gets under a cat's skin, he/she eventually has to chase it down and git it, which of course means that on the way home anything else could have grabbed and distracted her attention, like somebody else's house for awhile.
WMC is working with the interns and the Fun Department on a welcome home theme for the big party, balling up tin foil, putting little empty wooden thread spools wherever she is not allowed to be, unused curly telephone cord to hang on the door knobs. For awhile, it looked like Megan McCormick had been cast aside and forgotten about by the general public but her manager tells me she is on the verge of a major comeback.

On the verge of a major comeback are a few shows from the 80s and 90s, including Full house and The X-Files.

Full House and The X-Files are coming back but what I'd really like to see are The Rockford Files and CHiPs.

Me-TV was forced off our local affiliate and replaced by their mediocre sister network Heroes and Icons.
WZME Channel 43 Bridgeport, Connecticut was "ME-TV New York". It had cable coverage throughout the NYC metro area - Southern Connecticut, Long Island, parts of NYC, and Jersey. Then a new station that moved it's way into the NYC from Wyoming signed on as the new ME-TV affiliate for NYC. They told WZME to focus on Connecticut or drop the network. WZME is not available OTA in most of the state and is not on cable is a lot of the state.

Heroes and icons of baseball such as Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds have been tarnished irreparably by their association with steroids.
Any other PowerWorld LLC property that has not seen a minimum wage increase to $15 dollars an hour will do so in the next six months.
In the next six months, investors in PowerWorld LLC will demand that the corporation avoid the increase by moving everything but its corporate offices to Southeast Asia, where the minimum wage is in the neighborhood of $1 an hour.
Once upon a time there was an old lady who lived in a shoe which when you think about it, probably made moving pretty damn easy.
All the way around the world in 80 days used to be a challenge that was nearly impossible to meet but now you could do it in about 2 days if you had to.
