Fantastic word game

Smoothly, without making so much as a sound, the robbery suspect cracked open the window, slipped inside, rummaged through the house, and scored a massive haul.

A massive haul of extra eggs and hashed browns was scored by me early last Sunday morning at Denny's after kenny cooked too many after the Rockfest.

MmmmmmmTasty!

Our tummies are empty in preparation for our scheduled colonoscopy, the only liquid we've consumed beside the nasty colon cleaner being the equally horrid diet ginger ale.

Diet ginger ale (and regular ginger ale for that matter) is disgusting and you won't find me drinking it in preparation for any medical procedure.

Geez, CT, I realize you are tiring of hearing about the Quest and other certain things but a colonoscopy? Thanks for the imagery. :)

Any medical procedure in which a Physician Executive is tapped to perform the surgery, is a procedure for which I won't be sticking around long.

"I'm a lover, not a fighter" is a song recorded by Skeeter Davis as well as the Kinks, and "I'd rather fight than switch" is a slogan for Taryton Cigarette's TV ads produced in the 60's and 70's.

Around his desk were two plush leather chairs, a brass coat rack with an inch of dust collected on it, an ashtray, a small wood paneled cigar box, and the nervous intern, standing front and center of the shag carpeted office, wondering what fate awaits him.

Standing front and center of the shag carpeted office, wondering what fate awaits him, the little band camper was nervous until he noticed the birthday balloons with his name on them.

Birthday balloons with his name on them had been strategically placed around the room, prompting the young clarinet/flute player to wonder just who in the hell knew it was his birthday.

It was his birthday four days ago, leaving the young band camper with the unenviable and awkward task of telling the others of their mistake.

HR error, what can you do?

You'd like to think we would see our Head Librarian and her lovely, young, library interns sometime soon on The Fantastic Word Game (or TFWG, as most prefer), as rumor has it that she was a no-show for the Saturday night 80's Rockfest at the new Illusions.

Saturday night 80's Rockfest at the new Illusions livestreams each week in deference to the global pandemic but we eagerly look forward to the day when we can all get together again to rock the night away in person.

Miss Silkie and all of the lovely young library interns were definitely on the livestream last Saturday night. I check these things. However, our good friend Miss Silkie has been absent from this particular forum more than normal lately. I'm quite sure she has her reasons and they are between herself and the HR Dept and nobody else. And, sometimes, real life interferes requiring some time away from TFWG. We shall leave it be. The interns have their work schedules and their duties and they know they can come to Uncle Game Czar if there are any issues.

Mr. cotton belt, I would be shirking my Game Czar duties if I didn't point out a minor clue discrepancy. dmargalotti's ending clue was "you'd like it to" which you (I'm sure inadvertantly) changed to "You'd like to". Enough said. We shall keep on keepin' on. :)

Rock the night away in person, then sleep the following day away in full recovery mode.

You are sure right, WMC. My apologies to you and to dmargalotti for the sloppy game play.

The cloud can refer to off-site computer storage, networking or processing, but if you need fast processing, that is accomplished best with on-site computing from the edge.
