Fantastic word game

The edge of night (or, The Edge of Night, for those who prefer) was a long running daytime soap opera that aired from 1956 until 1984.

It actually was the year I turned 16, and the same year that my all time favorite movie "The Gremlins" was released, teaching us all about the perils of late night snacking.

Your weight became even more apparent when we were young, as the munchies would hit prompting us to drive to the nearest Waffle House late at night, while (most likely) we shouldn’t have been driving.

"Driving My Life Away" by Eddie Rabbitt is, by far, my favorite country music song.

Don't be a Bogart, Ron. Puff, puff, pass, bro...

I do not like country music” is what some people say that grew up listening to acid rock or rap, other people can listen to rock as well as country songs like “It's Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night That Chew Your A$$ Out All Day Long”.

Or, we could listen to Little Feat, one of Cotton Belt's favorites all day long!

All day long, is the amount of time it would take to smoke the "zepellin" that Tommy Chong had rolled up before hitching the ride with Cheech Marin and his "Love Machine", a 1964 Chevrolet Impala.

My God, Ron. It's like you've known me for years. God bless you over there in the A-T-L.

A 1964 Chevrolet Impala was parked outside of the main band camp gates for a little while this afternoon before HOSS scanman and his security team chased away the occupants.

It was spies from that less desirable band camp company on the other side of town. They were looking for secrets while trying to remain anonymous. But they forgot to wear COVID19 masks so we could see who they were. Dummies!

And, hey, it's Friday night and we all know what that means. Yup, tomorrow night, it's CTListener's favorite all time thing, the 80s Rockfest, livestreamed from the new Illusions. kenny, Dave and I will bring you the greatest 80s rock hits plus your requests. We've sent an invite to CT to join us at Illusions for the livestream. Or he can hold off and join us post-pandemic when it's safer and there will be a bigger crowd. He hasn't let us know yet.

Have a great weekend!!

As they attempted to speed away, the driver tried to pull a J-turn which is a fast moving reverse of direction for a car perfected by Jim Rockford in The Rockford Files, but unfortunately their failed attempt only resulted in them slamming into a utility pole.

A utility pole ironically was also the undoing of his brother as the girlfriend's father had secretly attached a chain from the pole to his rear axel causing the ’64 Impala’s transmission to shred all over the road, leaving them in a broken car with no where to go.

Sounds like a country song to me.

With nowhere to go, with nothing else to do, and at the risk of further fueling the fire that lies within our fellow contributor, CTListener, I thought I'd mention that with this post, we are yet one step closer in The Quest to 10,000 Pages (or TQP10K, as I prefer), which would certainly give us plenty of reason to absolutely "tear the house down" in a full blown, all weekend long celebration at the new Illusions.

At the new Illusions, things are a lot quieter in general as we adhere to the global and local pandemic rules and regulations but you can be sure that we will get back to rockin' the whole joint once we are able to get everyone together again.

Partying down, partying hearty, and partying all the time are all at the top of my list as soon as we get the word.

Some local restrictions around PowerWorld Town have been lifted regarding workers returning to offices. Some returned last week and a few more will return this week. My floor is still empty except for me. Most associates will continue working from home for now. We will see how things go this week. Last week went pretty well. dmargalotti, Miss Silkie, scanman and I will have a Zoom conference call Wednesday morning.

Virtually anyone can watch a concert on TV, and as things continue to turn upside down, being there in person is somthing that may not be possible in the future.
