Fantastic word game

Right now, indoor dining is allowed here in Massachusetts, starting last week, as long as employees and patrons wear masks (except when eating), groups are limited to 4 persons or less, and tables and people are socially distanced.

Mass. Governor Charlie Baker's reopening phases are working well although some business owners feel he is moving too slowly. Phase 3 (gyms, museums, etc) started yesterday. I dropped by my gym on the way home from work tonight and they have reopened. I think I'll head there tomorrow evening to hit the treadmill for the first time since mid March. I'm off on Wednesday for my July 4th floating holiday so we'll see if I get there or not. :)

Tables and people are socially distanced but they've still got their faces buried in their smart phones while eating which is ridiculous because if you're not going to have meaningful interaction with other people, you might as well just stay home.

Back in the 80's the radio control room was more crowded than in the 70's because not only did you have the mic, cart machines, the cart racks, a clock, 2 turntables, the board, a phone, a reel-to-reel, a cassette recorder, the EBS module, the weather alert thing, audio processing gear, and the remote transmitter controls, we then added a very expensive CD player for the ultimate in acoustic clarity.

It was also hard as heck to que the first models. You had to press play then pause almost instantaneously to have it ready to fire.

One of my vacations is coming up the week after next but I'll be staying local rather than travelling.

Did not make Florida back in May due to all the coronavirus stuff going on. Supposed to go in September but that's still iffy. Dunno what I'll be doing in 2 week other than relaxing. Maybe do a beach day if anything is open? Hampton Beach in New Hampshire? Will have to play it by ear. What is going on today will no doubt be vastly different than what is going on 2 weeks from now.

El Backo De Yardo is also where we have spent part of our vacation time this year, however we spent almost the about same amount of money that we would have normally spent, because we added a grilling station and a screened porch.

A screened porch is an absolute necessity, here in East Texas, given our propensity for mosquitoes so large that they almost require tower clearance at the regional airport.

Tower clearance at the regional airport is a given any time The Lovely Olivia (TLO as I prefer) or The Lovely Megan (TLM as dmargalotti prefers) flies in for [/b]a special band camp musical performance[/b].

Happy Friday night!! You know what that means! It's the best in 80s Rock Saturday night via livestream from the new Illusions with the 80s Rockfest. I have it on good authority that CTListener just might make a rare personal appearance with Kenny, Dave and I. If he does, we'll let him take over the controls for an hour to give us the best in CTListener's musical life. The last time we let someone have their way, Stuart gave us his Stuart-ized version of the Rockfest. And then left us (again!) a couple of weeks later. We hope that doesn't happen with CTListener should he show up.

Have a great weekend!!

A special band camp musical performance will be held for all front line workers at some point down the road once it's safe to have large gatherings.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the 80s Rockfest livestream last night. And of course special thanks to kenny for the delicious grub from Denny's early this morning.

I have an excuse for missing out on the festivities this weekend, but no one really wants to hear about it.
