Fantastic word game

The years have also come and gone but some of us are still here and will be here for some time to come.

And welcome to Page 2000, congrats to me for getting that first post. Let's fill it up with the full 20 so we can officially have 2000 pages. And we shall roll on with the Quest To Page 3000 (QTP3K).
 
Flourish is an awkward word to use at the start of a sentence, as it is a verb that is never used as a command.

And as a noun, in normal usage it would be preceded by an article or -- as in the previous post -- an article and an adjective.
 
It shall be based on the definition of its usage as a noun.

When used as such, which is why this is the Fantastic Word Game. By the way we are 13 posts away from 40,000 posts. I still think we should strive to reach post 100,000 and not page 100,000.

The other 8,427,619 channels are probably owned by only a handful of mega media corporations who don't care what you watch since they are still making ridiculous amounts of money.
 
Garbage trucks swoop into band camp immediately following any celebration to clean up and to keep the grounds looking like a postcard.

Now, guys, it's just about vacation time again and I will be heading to sunny Florida for a week starting this coming Saturday (yes, I know, it's 9/11). I will be peeking in from time to time. I am appointing both dmargalotti and Miss Silkie as your fearless leaders starting Saturday even though neither one usually shows up here on the weekends. scanman, maybe you and CT can keep an eye on things on Saturday/Sunday.
