Fantastic word game

Our Quest To Page 3,000 (QTP3K as I prefer), not really I, but it's the clue to work with, could be mitigated by working with number of posts, seein' as how this is Post #40,521, but who am I to make a suggestion to get us to 100,000 posts rather than 10,000 pages?

Seriously, new suggestions might be considered on occasion.

10,000 pages is a lot of pages, Miss Silkie, which is why I suggested 3,000 pages which is very attainable within the next year and, I believe, even more quickly attainable than 100,000 posts.

We can certainly have both going at the same time as well. Quest To Post 100,000 and Quest To Page 3,000. I kinda thought we had already discussed this subject a few times already. I'm open to whatever you guys wanna do.

Grammar that is considered improper in "standard" American English is increasingly considered acceptable in ethnic or regional dialects.

Oh no, Stuart! You mean prospective!

Dialects and quirks such as lisps in various countries, i.e. Spain and Great Britain, followed that of the monarchies of those countries.

You can hear it in Feliz Navidad where the s is "missed" in prospero and Navidad is pronounced "Navithah".

Countries in which English is the official language are easier for me to visit since I do not speak any other languages.

Unless of course you count sarcasm as a second language.

Other languages may include the unspoken ones like Braille or Sign Language.🌏

I am going to need a ruling here........ ("Oh no, Stuart! You mean prospective!"). This is a good point. However, before posting, I looked up the meaning of "Perspective". Here is what I found (courtesy of "Bing"...Duke uses "Bing")..

Number one did not seem right, so I chose number two. I hereby submit this to the review committee.

  1. the art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.See also linear perspective and aerial perspective.
    "a perspective drawing"
  2. a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
"most guidebook history is written from the editor's perspective"
    synonyms:
    outlook · view · viewpoint · point of view · standpoint · position · stand ·
    [more]

Sign language seems very complicated to learn but maybe I think that because, right at this moment, I'm tired and I have a headache.

I'll think about that some more tomorrow when I'm not tired and I don't have a headache.

I'm tired and I have a headache, so I'm going to bed, but not before explaining to Stuart and anyone else interested that "perspective" (both definitions) is a noun and not an adjective, and therefore was the incorrect word to use back in post #40,527.

prospective (adj.)
(of a person) expected or expecting to be something particular in the future.
"she showed a prospective buyer around the house"

Post #40,527 does certainly contain a grammatical error.

Sorry, Stuart, buddy, have to concur with the others. "Prospective" would have been the proper first word used in that sentence.

Amusing, entertaining, and sometimes thought-provoking contributions require a bit of thought by thoughtful people, or they will probably not be any of the aforementioned.

My dear WMC, PowerWorld does not pay us to get to 10,000 pages, but by the finished product. When the terms of the number of pages have changed, the finished product is still the requirement, and that is 100,000 posts. Do you pay for a body to sit on the premises, or do you judge by the work product?

The aforementioned sentence fragment I was working on while Miss. Silkie was working on hers; amusing, entertaining, and sometimes thought-provoking contributions, was the theme of TRLS; aka "The Rush Limbaugh Show". 💬

I am hearing the phone ringing, it's probably Mr. Allen wanting to talk with me about my word confusions. I am sure TFWGY (The Fantastic Word Game Yenta) WMC, probably called him right away to report me!!!! 👮‍♂️

Once, I left New England for the South, but returned after three years.

As of the New Year, I am still in New England but no longer in Connecticut. I am debating whether to change my username to match my new state of residence, haven't yet decided.
