Before the invention of the cell phone there was the touch tone phone and, earlier still, the rotary dial phone, but nothing could take the place of clicking the phone receiver up and and down until the operator answered to place your call.

Turning the crank callers, a couple of mischievous kids, in to the police hopefully taught them both a lesson.

My long and illustrious career here at the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as all Game Czars prefer) will continue on uninterrupted until such time when either I retire or people get sick and tired of me and throw me the heck out of my Game Czar office.

Speaking of my Game Czar office, I will be out of it next week as I once again head to sunny Florida this Saturday. scanman, please schedule someone to stay on guard each day. I'm not so concerned about dmargalotti doing his funny stuff as I am about residents of the rose capital of the world breaking in and doing their thing, if you know what I mean. And I think you do.
