Yet still, despite howls of protest from commentators and columnists throughout the land, Halloween continues its disturbing calendar creep.

By the way, your surname is often posted here incorrectly instead of Nielsen for the media rating service. I will defer to you if that error crops up here in the future, as it's only right that an actual Nielson should make the correction.

We all thought very highly of CT which is why his nomination was accepted quickly. Or kind of quickly. Ok, not quickly at all but you know how those Board of Governor guys are.
rosecity, I direct you to the very first post of this game where it says "You take the last word of the sentence and make a new sentence." Operative word there being sentence. We've required a sentence for almost 17 years. When you joined us, you said that you knew everything about the game. You were quite abrasive about it. That's when I said something about you being a former contributor in disguise. Which I still think, by the way. Regarding that 'length × width × height = volume' contribution, I actually read it as 'length times width times height equals volume' which would be ok. That's why I didn't flag it.

One quick question: WMC stated "You take the last word of the sentence and make a new sentence." Does that mean you can take only the last word, or do you have to use whatever phrase the previous poster has bolded?

Ed, we have evolved over 16 1/2 years. In the beginning, the clues were single words. Eventually, we started allowing multiple words and phrases. We kind of needed to change. And we required that the person bold the new clue so we could figure out what they were asking their new clue to be. That statement you refer to was taken from the founder of this game on the very first post. Go look at it. I was referring it to rosecity regarding the sentence part of it. We have always required a sentence as he claimed that a full sentence was never required. Obviously it was. So, to summarize, use one sentence and one sentence only. Please bold (yes, bold is a verb) the beginning clue from the previous contribution and your new ending clue. And, now, I'm off to bed. Nighty night!

Before actually attempting it, I looked up how to actually do it on YouTube.
YouTube is a great resource for learning how to break things even more before you call in a professional who actually knows what he's doing.

Sunny Florida was the scene of one of the worst beat downs ever recorded in NFL history as the Dolphins whipped the Broncos handily this last weekend.
