Fantastic word game

The presets in a vehicle, specifically my vehicle, are programmed to receive Big 103 (my usual listen) plus, in no particular order, 105.7 WROR, 104.5 WXLO, 96.1 WSRS, Mix 104.1, and 93.7 WEEI (for Red Sox baseball) while the rest of the presets are empty.

The rest of the presets are empty, besides the 6 stations we have specifically programmed into each of our rides from this market, because when you live in the beautiful slice of Heaven called East Texas you really don't need to travel afar.

You really don't need to travel afar between PowerWorld band camps because dmargalotti, our International Director of Band Camp (IDBC as most prefer), has located each one strategically around the world.

The world is in a bit of a mess this morning thanks to a massive IT issue that has affected multiple companies and industries, but from what I am told, there is no truth to the rumor that our old friend Darth is behind this mayhem.

There is no truth to the rumor that our old friend Darth is behind this mayhem, so I guess we'll just keep on keeping on and offer this little diddy of a contribution from which you can work.

Darth....🤣

You can work on a cure for cancer, a formula for peace in the Mideast or the key to the mystery of life itself if you want to, but you might as well be banging your head against the wall.

Banging your head against the wall, CT, is what you might as well do, as we both sit here awaiting WMC's weekly welcome to the weekend.

Welcome to the weekend, rosecity, CT and everyone else.

It's time to relax, unwind, cool down and get down with your own bad rockin' self at another fantastic summer-themed 80s Rockfest tomorrow night at the new Illusions. Join kenny, Dave, myself, the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull, and a few of the lovely young library interns as we play the best in 80s rock plus your requests. Join us in person or via the giant PowerWorld livestream. Later on, in the early morning Sunday hours, kenny will cook up some great grub.

Not sure if Darth had anything to do with the worldwide issues but Bruce and Robin had everything in shape in the IT Centre. Hmmm. rosecity. Darth. rosecity. Darth. Darth leaves. rosecity shows up. Anyone ever seen those two in the same room together? How about rosecity and cotten belt? Hmmm. Nahhhhhh!

Stay cool and have a great weekend!!!

Everyone else knows full well that cotton has no e in it.

For shame, WMC, for shame..Darth isn't from Tyler either, partner. Hell, I don't figure he's even set one foot in Texas.

Miss Silkie, I''d like to take this opportunity to say I'm sorry. I really am. I would never actually trade my prized heifer for you, Sweetie Pie, and your lovely library interns. Seems like that particular banter between the Czar and I helped send you off into purgatory. Maybe you're just busy with your own real life adventures. Maybe you just needed a break from the game. Maybe you just needed a break from the constant stories straight outta the barnyard. Heck for, maybe you just soured on me when the fishnets and platform boots I thought I'd already sent never arrived in your mailbox. Didn't realize they were heavy enough to require more postage. In any case, don't let my over-the-top stupidity get in the way of you bringing your magnificent feminine touch to our, otherwise, testosterone-fueled shenanigans. I offer you a dozen roses, directly from the city of roses itself, in hopes of getting you and the ladies of the library back on the roll call.

cotton has no e in it but, for some reason, I thought that screenname did but I stand corrected after your correction, rosecity, and I also took the time, which I should have done previously, to search the name here on Radio Discussions.

Here on Radio Discussions, we see the name of this website at the top of each page we visit, with the words never separated by a space.

Dunno whether this is worthy of demerits or not. It could be that the legal name is indeed "Radio Discussions," but the no-space variation is its logo. (Kind of like the way you see "Walmart" on the stores, but the legal name of the company is still the original "Wal-Mart.") Not my pay grade to have access to any info that could clarify this, so no action taken, for now.

Space for common sense in CT's head must be empty because everyone knows that there are no spaces in a URL.

RadioDiscussions is RadioDicussions.com. Just as there were no spaces in RD's previous life, RadioInfo.com. Or Radio-Info.com. or RadioInsight.com. Or, well I could go on and on and on and on. But I won't. Happy Saturday. :)

There are no spaces in a URL but there are plenty of spaces to sit in the band camp cafeteria should anyone wish to drop in for a cool refreshing drink.

There are some tasty tidbits to be had as well. A couple of the lovely young library interns are manning the tables this afternoon. Come in and say hello, why don't you.

The neighborhood is awfully quiet today which leads me to think that everyone, except for dmargalotti and I, has headed out the door to join Stuart, Miss Phyllis, Mr. Allen, and Miss Silkie, wherever they may be.

Wherever they may be, we were apparently not invited, but that's okay because I've got the key to the library and I know where Miss Silkie hides all her snacks and goodies.

I know where Miss Silkie hides all her snacks and goodies plus the secret recipes to many of the tasty tidbits.

But I'm the Game Czar. I'm sworn to secrecy.

Many of the tasty tidbits that occasionally spice up this long-running game contain references to fictional events, people and farm animals that outsiders wouldn't understand.

Understand that we have been around for so long (more than 17 years, as I prefer) that sometimes we keep circling back to the same storylines after a period of time while, at other times, we just keep the same storylines going on and on and on.

You can thank me for that. You are most welcome. And please enjoy this rare Early Morning Contribution (EMC as most prefer) from yours truly.

The same storylines going on and on and on are what led the Cerebral Heel to introduce the Petite Blonde Intern to the game, while I have yet to stop yammering on about my milk-toting heifer.

Which has been met with mixed results. CT & I seem to be somewhat more content nowadays, but it looks like our tireless efforts, to freshen up this word game of Fantasticness, have sent all but the two of us, Dave, and WMC right on out yonder back door.
