Fantastic word game

Visiting the beach on a sunny summer day, getting my tan on, people watching, and recruiting new lovely young library interns are just part of what I do on my trips to sunny Florida.

Speaking of which, 29 days to go before I hit the Sunshines State again.

My senses tell me that we are in a heap of trouble if that nut job wins the Presidential election in 3 months.

My opinion most likely won't change yours either, but the nut job I was referring to isn't who you might think.

You might think that thinking matters, but when it comes to forgiving and forgetting it is the one who admitted wrongdoing and worked to make it right who gets all forguv, not the one who doesn't feel like it.

And when the spirit bears witness that a wrongdoer is a kindred spirit, that's just the way it goes.

The one who doesn't feel it coming, doesn't know this game very well.

I mean, it's Friday, follks. You know what's to come.

This game very well may have to continue without me, at least until November, if my party decides that I'd be a better candidate than the nut job, nominates me instead and sends me out on the campaign trail.

Three demerits for rcm for the unnecessary comma in his latest submission, and three for Silkie for the missing commas that should have set off "when it comes to forgiving and and forgetting." If I am elected, incidentally, a national crackdown on comma misuse will be put in place. You can read about it in my Commanist Manifesto.

The campaign trail has come to a stop while the volunteers look at and consider Miss Silkie's ending clue in Post #48,169 which is vastly different when it comes to rosecity's beginning clue in Post #48,170.

And while they do that, allow me to interject to welcome everyone to the weekend!! Once again, it's time to unwind to another fantastic 80s Rockfest tomorrow night at the new Illusions. Join us for that and then join us for kenny's kountry kookin' at Denny's along with kenny and the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull. Have a great weekend!!!

rosecity's beginning clue in Post #48,170 is indeed a mistake, and it's just as grave an error as you not using an italicized (or bolded) font for your additional comments.

Again!

Say, partner. There's an old proverb involving a stone cast while making residence within the confines of a glass structure. You oughta give it a gander on The Google sometime.

Apologies for my gaffe. I got hornswaggled into drinking Dos Equis last night by Comnie and her petite blonde friend. I ain't feeling right even now.

Your additional comments are correct, rosecity, so I offer my heartiest apology to you and the entire readership for my lack of following procedure while calling someone else out on their lack of following procedure.

10 demerits assessed to myself. I'm heading down to Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits to drown my mistakes in some goodies. Geez, I need a vacation.

Following procedure in the Blank Check Game requires you to write a check for an amount which, when added to the actual retail amount of the prize you see in front of you on the stage, must total between $3,000 to $3,500.

$3,000 to $3,500 seems like a range that ought to be updated for the current times on The Price Is Right because that's the same range they have been using since before Bob Barker stopped coloring his hair.

I understood the rules. Poor Barker had to suffer every time they played that game. Do they still have that game under Drew Carey?
Edit: Just checked The Google which told me that Check Game (renamed from Blank Check in 1986) is, in fact, still in rotation. The winning range has increased over the years to the current $8,000-$9,000.

Commas are very important in all facets of life, including music, such as that huge 1980s Boy George/Culture Club hit, Comma Chameleon.
