Fantastic word game

Capacity of the (or o' th', as the redneck prefers) lifeboats on the Titanic was only half the number of people on board, but the passengers were never told that.

Them gummies and demerits are on their way to the Padre, rose, and I think I hear the animals (or they animals, as he prefers) thundering up I-91 toward the Listener Lodge and Boudoir right now. The intern is cautiously opening the refrigerator door a crack and stifling a sigh ...

That sense o' sadness from the Petite Blonde Intern should be mitigated by word from the partially burned-out, yet somewhat habitable hay barn at the RCM Ranch, that I've recently been feelin' a lil' better 'bout slappin' up some new construction n' leadin', eventually, to full-on heifer replacement.

I ain't ever substituted an ' fer an e in the word "the", compadre. Yer thinkin' o' some other loudmouthed, rear end showin', rasslin' lovin', Game Czar job squashin' hayseed, I reckon.

Test the waters by diving in to leave a contribution in the form of a sentence, starting with the bolded ending clue from the previous contribution and ending with your very own bolded well-crafted clue.

Your very own bolded well-crafted clue could be the spark that lights a fire and ignites a who new career as a world-famous poster here at The Fantastic Word Game (FWG as some seem to prefer).

A world-famous poster here at The Fantastic Word Game (FWG as some seem to prefer) shows all of the regular contributors being waited on by all of the semi-regular contributors.

I mean, it's no Farrah-Fawcett-in-a-red-bathing-suit world famous poster but, hey, it's still world famous.

Ed, the actual name of the game is Fantastic Word Game which is why some people (not me) prefer FWG. I've always preferred TFWG because, really, I feel that the "the" is necessary so I go with TFWG.

"Goof" is exactly what former 'rassler "Dr. D" David Schultz called the pre-icon Hulk Hogan durin' an early 1980's promo that cracked "Mean" Gene Okerlund up when he then turned the subject towards his recent experience encounterin' the "women" of San Francisco.

Same guy who slapped 'round reporter John Stossel when he insulted Dr. D by tellin' him how fake he thought 'rasslin was in a backstage interview.

The Doc is my Fantastic Word Game inspiration, y'know. 😉

Love what you post here at The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as most of us prefer), but be sure to proofread your contributions.

Hey I had a couple too many gummies.

The transmission of my volunteer message across the PowerWorld system was well received as we had a record high number of volunteers amongst the PowerWorld staff.

Thanks to everyone who assisted with the Memorial Day parade. Great to see dmargalotti marching right up front with the PowerWorld University band.

Editing, proofreading and handing out demerits for improperly worded and grammatically incorrect sentences are some of the duties of the Director of Liguistics (DoL as we all prefer).

The duties of the Director of Linguistics (DoL as we all prefer) here at the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as many of us prefer) include meeting quarterly with dmargalotti, our International Director of Band Camp (IDBC as we prefer), to discuss the demerit policies and programs at our band camps across the globe.
