Fantastic word game

"Sneeze at least three more times and you shall be healed," said a frequent social media poster in a preposterous attempt to portray himself as a deity when all he was really doing was offering his used, moist handkerchief to an unfortunate golf buddy with an allergy.

.

With a few demerits hanging over him, CT did everything he could to correct his over-bolded contribution before realizing it was permanently etched in stone for all the world to see.

Nevertheless, congratulations to CTListener for capturing the first contribution on Page 2700.

Every winter, and every spring, we learn the correct way to connect subject with verb.

Sadly, it seems HOSS scanman missed that class because his subject (tons) does not match his verb (falls). Snow falls but tons do not falls. They fall. Geez, I'm sounding like the Second Coming of CTListener (SCCTL as no one prefers). Sorry about that. Awesome sentence HOSS, I mean, scanman. Geez, right there, I sounded like the Second Coming of rosecitymedia (SCrcm as still no one prefers). Ok, I'm out for the night. I'll be looking at rug patterns for the plush. I mean. for my living room. Good night now!

"Connect subject with verb correctly every time or I'm afraid I will have to flunk you," said Mr. Allen, the nation's strictest high school English teacher, to his most problematic student, Stuart, many years ago in a classroom.

A Second Coming of Stuart (SCS, as Mr. Allen reportedly prefers) would be nice, too. Stuart and his wayward grammar, RCM and his wayward critters. Dang, it's sure boring around here without them.

My favorite moment of the school day happens when the Director of Linguistics (DoL as most prefer) walks into the classroom and hands out stacks of demerits, many of which are permanent, to the students as punishment for their mangling of the English language.

Their mangling of the English language leaves many a young band camper in tears which follows with a phone call home to mom and dad.

I could use a good visit from Miss Silkie and her extra-long contributions. Geez, I hope she's ok.

So, it's that time of the week when we get ready for the weekend including heading on down to the new Illusions Saturday night for a fantastic 80s Rockfest. It will be a marathon (Boston Marathon, that is, which is Monday) of singing and dancing as we play as many patriotic songs as we can find in honor of Patriots' Day which is also on Monday and is a state holiday in Massachusetts and Maine. You didn't know that, did you? Well, did you? The Denny's-sponsored, permanently-guarded mechanical bull will be decked out in all of his patriotic regalia. Join us, won't you, preferably in person or via the huge PowerWorld livestream. And join us early Sunday morning at Denny's for some of kenny's best-ever grub. Have a great weekend!!

Mom and dad bring their compassion, along with snacks and hugs, when they visit during Band Camp Parents' Weekend (BCPW as a few prefer).

Band Camp Parents' Weekend (BCPW as a few prefer) occurs twice per semester so that everyone has a chance to visit the campus.

Visit the campus
See the students study hard
For the final test.

Stay here for a few minutes to appreciate Mister Ed's haiku contribution which, intentionally or not, honors our old friend, Anyacat, who is most assuredly smiling down from the heavens.

The Bible is available here at the new Illusions for those patrons who would like to take a reverential break from the singing and dancing but it doesn't really get much use during our Saturday night events.

Our Saturday night events at the new Illusions are so popular that, on occasion, we are forced to make people wait outside due to local crowd restriction laws.
