Favorite channels?

I went to another doctor today and while I don't know if it was Sirius/XM, it sure sounded like Yacht Rock. But all these people with walkers or wheelchairs ...

I happen to like light classical, WQXR New York, WCRB Boston, Sunday Baroque, etc... I do like SiriusXM/Pops, as they play a fairly good variety of classical, with little side trips into Gershwin or something similar. Why is it that I can't listen to that in my car, but I can listen to the long form symphonies channel?

Is Mosaic still around. The present disappeared a few weeks ago.
The channel guide shows it as being on ch. 305. Some radios can't receive the higher channel numbers, in which case you'll have to listen online.

I had the preset set and it said channel no longer available.
A couple of years ago, they moved 60's on 6 from 6 to 73. I had the preset, and when they changed it my preset updated automatically. It could be that your radio can't receive the higher channel numbers. Mine only goes up to ch. 199.

It is available through streaming.

I am wondering if 15 will be Yacht Rock's permanent home. I am surprised 311 is gone entirely ... I liked having Yacht Rock up there all year, especially when I would listen in the cold months. I just don't know if SiriusXM would set 15 aside year-round as a permanent home for what mostly is regarded as a seasonal channel, unless I am underestimating its popularity.

I think most people associate Yacht Rock as summer beach music. While’s it’s not that’s how it’s marketed now. On your boat in the summer.

I worked at a soft A/C from '90-'94 "The Blend" sounds just like it and I often go to sleep listening to it. If they ever have dead air or if I lose the stream I may wake up in a panic! :)

They need to bring some different songs into the playlist. It’s somewhat stale.

Agree, but to bring Yacht Rock back down to the lower channel at this time of year and get completely rid of 311 yet again is much different timing than in years past.
