In Rhode Island my favorite is Gary Ley. I like his approach, his friendliness and his sense of humor. He's very personable and has a very good overall presentation that makes watching the Weather enjoyable. Whenever I watch him I get the feeling that he actually knows what he's talking about. I don't get that feeling with other Meteorogists in town. Other Forecasters talk about weather but Gary seems to Live Weather! So he is by far my favorite from Providence.
In Boston my personal favorite is not such an easy choice. WBZ's Bruce Schoegler would have been my absolute favorite if he were still on the air. He would have ranked right up at top with how I feel about Gary Ley. A clear Cut Winner! However one check of WBZ's website tells me that Bruce isn't even there anymore. I guess he retired. So my vote is now split between Harvey Leonard and Todd Gross. They both seem pretty good to me.
