February 2013 Ratings

good start for wtkk i mean wbqt? interesting too see what the Balthazar effect will be in next months book!!

WBZ-FM crashed just like the Pats.
WEEI-FM didn't receive any spring training boost.

WGBH is as useless as WTKK once was.

AAF & CRB both get a little uptick. Good for them.

Very happy to see WJMN 94.5 not doing as well as it usually once was. :) WTKK Hot 96.9 so far doesn't look impressive with a 2.4 but they really seem to be cutting into the 94.5 audience... I must say i do like the music selection, mixes, and The morning show ALOT better than "Jam'ns" slow demising days... 101.7 was better left as Alternative... This hoopla 24/7 EDM rave station will be short lived.. Just like the day disco died... Please.

Keep in mind the morning show just started half way into the book along with the mix shows etc. And they just expanded the playlist this past Saturday playing more songs. So far its working and jamn is like a slowly sinking ship!! along with weei

It's very easy to hate on Clear Channel, and rightfully so. But at the same time let's all try to remember that there are some good people working over there who have no other choice but to take the orders handed down to them from the empty suits at the top. Let's also remember that when a station's ratings begin to slide and the ship begins to sink it is usually those hard working people on the front line who lose their jobs--- not the bean counters at the top.

wasn't kiss up in the 8's or 9's now there either first or send still but less points, so hot, amp are doing there job.

CC still has KISS... I have noticed the ratings took a dive more so when the Morning Show of 94.5 got the EXIT sign pointed at the co hosts... Its actually quite sad and unfortunate I only commented out of the "What did they expect" It is truly sad because of bad ownership practices and debt... that well known Highly rated station(s) and employees/on air talent have to suffer. AMP has taken some pie from KISS but mostly from JAM'N and I am thinking now with HOT, The waning days of 94.5 are coming... (Eventually) Unless they have better options... But in my opinion the worst option CC made was to break up Jamn's morning show... Whatever the case may have been for that... and second mistake Leaning too heavily into the CHR/POP format... The management of Greater Media are on point it most certainly seems. And AMP is doing their job keeping Kiss off a 10 or even 9 share.

Do we really think 96.9 is lighting the world on fire?  WJMN hasn't dropped that far from before 96.9 flipped.  Hip-hop is still on the outs in this market. A lot of today's kids are listening to country or top-40.  And, with that in consideration, I find it odd people think Mix will flip before AMP should WBZ-AM need a spot on the FM dial.  AMP has peaked; it's below Mix and is likely billing less than Mix as its demo is less desirable.  Mix didn't get hit yet by 96.9; many of 96.9's listeners are people who have come back to radio after having left it for not being served.

I like Evolution quite a bit; it's not going very far.

Anyway, back to RadioBDC for me.....

When do changes happen at AAF?

Give it a bleeping rest already. There will be no changes at AAF, especially since they've moved up from fifth to fourth in their target demo and increased their share by over one point.
