Any thoughts?

What does the "-STR" indicate in some of the callsigns? Is that an HD2 or does it indicate streaming listeners?
It's a stream that is not 100% simulcast with the AM or FM signal... such as those that run separate commercials in the stopsets.

Why did a bunch of Sacramento stations start showing up in the S F. ratings? Never seen that happen before.
Nielsen reversed its policy of not showing out of market non-subscribers and also now shows in-market non-subscribers even if they are below a 0.1 rating.

I wish they showed raw AQH Persons for each station. That would be very interesting.
They do. You just have to subscribe to get them.

Are the HD2's lumped in with the main channels?
HD-2's are not simulcasts, partial or total, of the analog audio. The HD-1 must, by rule, simulcast the analog signal's audio and the system is made to "force" this. Since this is a requirement, Nielsen has station encode the analog and HD-1 identically. They are the same station on the same signal.

HD-2 and beyond are separate services.

And an HD-2 (and beyond) that simulcasts another AM or FM of any kind is listed under the originating signal. For example, an HD2 that is leased to simulcast a separately owned AM will be listed as a single line simulcast of the originating station.

I am not near my database, but I suspect that they are not getting enough listening even to get a 0.1 in a single daypart.

You will find that some listed stations with a 0.0 but which subscribers can see includes a 0.1 or better in a single daypart in recent months. That qualifies them to "show" but for all practical effects, the station has "no listening" of significance.
