Filling Big Ron's Shoes

I know someone who would be perfect for this job, Clarke Ingram, he is the same type of jock in the Ron O'Brien mold. He worked at Z-100 New York, Hot 99.9 in Easton, and many places around Pittsburgh. That's who I would hire.

Isn't he making the "big bucks" at that AM 620 in Irwin? ;D

No mention of Christy Springfield?

I don't think Julius found this thread yet... then again, I don't think he cared for 98.1 for about 20 years...

It would be great if Big Joe Henry was on 98.1 but he is Mr. New Jersey and so much of his life is a big part of New Jersey. I can't imagine NJ1015 without him. He helps too many charities and what would happen to the Big Joe Jersey Talent show on Sunday nights during the summer?

Big Jay would probably be a viable choice, he has been in Philly two other times and I believe he is available. I don't think big Joe is well known in Philly, he has great ratings north of I195. weak ratings in South Jersey, but if you listen to his show, and I do every weekend, from suburban Philly you'll be addicted. He is corny and predictable and you know what he is going to say, before he says it and our family loves it! It wouldn't be the same on WOGL.

Thanks for the vote of confidence to all who have posted about my work.

WOGL is one of the premier stations in the country...and I'd be honored.

No one will "fill" Big Ron's shoes...but the station must look forward now after a rather unusual circumstance...and the franchise will be in good hands.

BE BIG!!!
Jay
