FINAL DAY AS "THE STAR" ON 96.5

did anyone hear about a "press release" of some sort went out about how exciting the new station and format will be targeting Men 25-49. Someone told me that something like this went out, but I didn't know how credible it was!

Thanks for playing along guys!
I agree that Smooth Jazz or Jack would be a longshot on 96.5.
AAA is probably the best bet - at this point.
However, Entercom is still in the cards with the LMA now in effect for the former CBS Stations. They may flip 97.3 since it's just not getting the job done. That's the signal that could (again, a longshot), go to "Movin" or Jack.
Still say the next 30-60 days will be very intersting for this market. A major "shake-up" hasn't happened in a long time. I'm also sure our friends at CC are sitting back and waiting for the first move on the format shuffle.
Stay tuned (pun intended).

They'd better not flip 97.3, it's the only decent corporate radio station in town. Ever since Howard Stern left, it's gotten so much better than 103.9 WXEG in Dayton. WXEG just plays all the new hard stuff, and 97.3 plays tons of cool stuff, like OK Go (aka the treadmill guys, search "OK Go" on YouTube), and the Dog Dare they do is pretty cool. It's still nowhere near WOXY, but it's acceptable for when I don't have Left of Center on Sirius available to me.
