Finally found a music station I can listen to

Too bad it is in Albequerque, but the Clear Channel high def station featuring classic alternative was a nice find on the web the other day. I can't remeber the last time I heard Depeche Mode and The Clash played back to back.

I'm sure alot of these so called flavored formats are great to listen too.But radio in genneral will eventually be jock free with the execption of maybe a a blip of news during the morning drive.I also see the end of traffic reports or at least a phase out if they can't be sold. All though an "All Comedy" on WWBB-HD I'm a litle concerned with.Although The comedy channel will still have more listeners than The Score. That's my monthly slam on The Score. ;D

You must have one hell of a great receiver to be able to listen to a station from New Mexico all the way from Pittsburgh!

One time I picked up KJ97 FM from San Antonio, Texas on the skip. I was living near Flint, Michigan at the time. Got a solid 10/10 stereo signal for the better part ofan hour. I called in a QSL and think I still hold their record.

Do you have a web address so I could find that station on the web? I like classic alternative music a lot. It kind of reminds me of the days I worked at X 15 1510AM. All help is appreciated.

I don't have a web address per se, but I will share how I found it. I googled 100.3 portland and found that station's website, then I clicked on their listen live icon. That opened a page and had a link for 100.3 hi def stream, which I clicked on, and it opened a page that had a link for the hi def stream and another link that had a list of all of the Clear Channel hi def , which i clicked on, it opens a box will all of the hi def stations, the Albequerque is the one of the top ones. There are plenty of formats in there, which I am sure I will experiment with as time goes on (fusion jazz?, interesting),. I know it is a arduous process, but it was worth it as far as I am concerned. I think the Ablequerque station is KTEG, just for information's sake, I haven't visited their website, so I don't know if you can get to the hi def stream from there or not.

I checked this evening and the KTEG website has a link to their hi def streaming, as well as all of the other clear channel hi def streams. I imagine all of the stations on the list will, and as of now, I didn't see any Pittsburgh CCs on the list.

Wow thats cool, I am from Texas and is close to San antonio, my longest catch was 1090 miles! I picked up KLUC from here to Las Vegas, I picked them up for about 3-5 minuets it was pretty cool, it was a clear signal. I am using a outdoor antenna though about 20'up.
