Too bad it is in Albequerque, but the Clear Channel high def station featuring classic alternative was a nice find on the web the other day. I can't remeber the last time I heard Depeche Mode and The Clash played back to back.
One time I picked up KJ97 FM from San Antonio, Texas on the skip. I was living near Flint, Michigan at the time. Got a solid 10/10 stereo signal for the better part ofan hour. I called in a QSL and think I still hold their record.Radio_Realist said:You must have one hell of a great receiver to be able to listen to a station from New Mexico all the way from Pittsburgh!
Do you have a web address so I could find that station on the web? I like classic alternative music a lot. It kind of reminds me of the days I worked at X 15 1510AM. All help is appreciated.fromtheinsideout said:Too bad it is in Albequerque, but the Clear Channel high def station featuring classic alternative was a nice find on the web the other day. Wow thats cool, I am from Texas and is close to San antonio, my longest catch was 1090 miles! I picked up KLUC from here to Las Vegas, I picked them up for about 3-5 minuets it was pretty cool, it was a clear signal. I am using a outdoor antenna though about 20'up.FreddyE1977 said:One time I picked up KJ97 FM from San Antonio, Texas on the skip. I was living near Flint, Michigan at the time.
