Out of that 4 share, only a small percentage will be outraged enough to actually take action, such as a boycott.

When was the last time WRKO got up to a 4 share (persons 25-54, the only number that counts)? The word on the street today is "Another ratings book, another ass whuppin' for WRKO." When was the last time they beat WTKK, anyone know?

1) I seem to recall writing, "CAN'T EVEN MUSTER A 4 SHARE." Maybe I can't read my own typing.

2) For the 3,497th time: Talk radio's key demo is 35-64. Even in that demo, they don't make a 4 share.

true about looking at talk in the 25-54 lense - there ain't much to look at. But, FM has a big advantage in that demo, right? And I just looked it up 96.9 is only winning by about a half a point, so things aren't so exciting for them neither.

RE: Jason - I never thought about that Wolfie might be torturing us on purpose with Scotto. Jason and Elder should run a torture chamber in Iraq! Scotto's been there for three years I think, when it was obvious he wouldn't cut it after his first 3 minutes on the air. why do they always wait so long to make moves? Blute was there for years too! Crazy.

Because he was cheap and cost-effective. Now that they have to write big checks to the Sox and NY Times Co. every year, the game has changed dramatically. They need to have high-profile players/characters on the station. Howie's one or so they think. The Felon is two or so they hope. Rush is three or so they claim. Who's on first, what's on second and I don't know is on 3rd.
