Y'all are DEAD ON! Glen's one of the nicest, patient (and, truth be told, one of the better adjusted) guys in radio. I remember being a college freshman at USC in early 1980 working at WCOS-AM for Hunter Herring when the AM was "Position 14 WCOS". Glen worked 7p-midnight at WCOS-FM...right across the hall. Ken "Music" Martin was their PD, Toby was there perfecting Aunt Elouise Louise, Teri Oyer(sp) middays and I think Chuck Finley had recently started afternoons. By far, Glen and Teri were the friendliest, nicest people (in a plethora of nice staff members) in the entire building. Glen really helped me with my on air delivery and, especially, interacting with listeners out in public. We used to have such a blast at the Skyline club when Alabama and Sylvia would come to town. People in and around the Columbia area now just don't have a clue as to how big a POWERHOUSE the Great 98 was, not only in the area, but in country music radio...period. Glen was a major contributor to that reputation.
It's probably a moot point, but surely CC has him under lock and key with a non-compete.
