FM Frequency of the Week 2018-19: 100.5

A pretty simple one this week as we head up the dial. What do you/did you/have you heard on 100.5?
East Tennessee: Nothing. That goes double since WCYQ (ex WOKI and WNOX) lit up IBOC.

Retro/other: Dayton, OH area was a tossup among WWKI, Kokomo IN and WKXA, Findlay OH with an occasional appearance from WKEE, Huntington WV.

Lafayette IN was all WWKI.
RETRO DX CLIP OF THE WEEK
Even with WKEE being the “Little 8” with their top 40 format on 800, it was simulcast on 100.5 before splitting the AM off into separate formats. WKEE remains CHR to this day. First clip is from 1967. You’ll hear the classic Mutual logo.

In 1978. WKEE appropriated the Drake “Mr. Whisper”.

100.5 in Yakima is semi-local (75 miles away) KWIQ Moses Lake WA (Country). There has been some Eskip caught on this channel in the past:

KVWF Augusta KS (first logged as The Wolf, now Flight 100.5 AAA)
KXNT-FM Henderson NV (first logged as News/Talk, now Q100.5 Rhythmic Hot AC)
KGHT El Jebel CO (Top 40 - 6000 watts of MONO hits!)
KNNK Dimmitt TX (Christian Contemporary)
KMQA East Porterville CA (Regional Mexican)
KPSI Palm Springs CA (Hot AC)

Anything else would be nice! My top wanted so far is 100KW KRSJ Durango CO, which should be possible on a decent opening to the southwestern US.

Far norhwest suburban Chicago.....

100.5 is pretty much blank at my location. Some "residual splatter" from WSHE from Chicago and the 100.7 that broadcasts from the south end of the Milwaukee metro.

Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs):

Usually splatter from either local 100.3 WRNB or semi-local 100.7 WLEV from Allentown. Tropo situations would give us
WRCH from Hartford CT or WVHT from Norfolk VA(ex-WCMS).

No 100.5 in the Bay...I have 2 competing stations. The first is KZZO (115 Kw), a top 40 station out of Sacramento. The other is a pesky 2 w KUPV-LP out of Santa Rosa, broadcasting a Christian talk format.

Lexington, KY:
On the south end of town, a fairly strong signal from 80's/90's Variety Hits WSDF, Louisville (37kW @ 554' ~57 mi.)
The signal is much weaker on the north side of town. I believe the higher elevation of the southern suburbs of Lexington has a lot to do with how well some distant signals perform there. I have also received WKEE, Huntington (WV) during good tropo from the east.

Zachary, LA (Baton Rouge area):
Nothing due to splatter from local flamethrower Country outlet WTGE, Baton Rouge (97kW @ 1506' ~20 mi.)

Moses Lake, WA:

I have a local on 100.5 - KWIQ-FM.
