A pretty simple one this week as we head up the dial. What do you/did you/have you heard on 100.5?
East Tennessee: Nothing. That goes double since WCYQ (ex WOKI and WNOX) lit up IBOC.
Retro/other: Dayton, OH area was a tossup among WWKI, Kokomo IN and WKXA, Findlay OH with an occasional appearance from WKEE, Huntington WV.
Lafayette IN was all WWKI.
RETRO DX CLIP OF THE WEEK
Even with WKEE being the “Little 8” with their top 40 format on 800, it was simulcast on 100.5 before splitting the AM off into separate formats. WKEE remains CHR to this day. First clip is from 1967. You’ll hear the classic Mutual logo.

In 1978. WKEE appropriated the Drake “Mr. Whisper”.
