From Cheyenne Wyoming:
I usually get nothing on 89.5 except for splatter from my locals on 89.3 and 89.7. Lately, however, the splatter has been reduced greatly by 89.3 being mute at the moment due to a malfunction on their end.
Due to the aforementioned splatter, 89.5 is hard to Dx at home, but my truck radio handles things really well, so it's a favorite target for me, because it's the first frequency in my area to have nothing on it. As a result, I've grabbbed E-skip from several places, including Mexico in May 2021, as well as Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Mississippi (tentative).
I can't think of any troposhperic Dx at the moment.
In Scottsbluff, NE, 89.5 is a BBN translator, however they have plans to move to 90.1 FM. They currently have an okay signal in STF, but the higher power of the new frequency will help with that.
Rapid City, SD, is IBOC splatter from KBHE.
