FM Frequency of the week for 12/17: 88.5

Happy Friday to you all, and that means it's time for FOTW again! This week is a non-commercial week as I did a Com frequency last time.
So next week will be Christmas Eve, so I will not be posting then, and the week after will be New Years Eve, and I will hence post a day early.
Here's what I have in mind:
*Week of Friday, December 3rd: 88.3, Non Comm week. (Completed)
*Week of Friday, December 10th: 99.1 Is a Commercial week. (Completed)
*Week of Friday, December 17th: 88.5 Non Comm week. (Today!)
*Idea for tomorrow, December 18th: What station do you turn to for holiday music?
*Week of Friday, December 24th: No FOTW. Have a Merry Christmas!
*Week of Thursday, December 30th: 99.3 Is a Commercial week. Happy New Year!
*Week of Friday, January 7th: 88.7 Non Comm Week.

Definitely let me know what you think of this schedule!

So from Cheyenne, WY:
Semi-Local is KUWY Laramie is a 135 watter from up on pilot hill, but it's signal can actually be decent at times. They run classical music, with news at the top of the hour, and powers KUWR HD2, which is a lot easier to receive.
Tropo: During the massive June 10th duct (which netted signals 200-300 miles away), 88.5 was taken over by a few other stations, including what I suspect to be KGNU Boulder.
E-Skip: On the second opening of the year (May 21st), I grabbled KQED San Francisco with RDS and a clear voice.

Local K203EN Ellensburg (K-LOVE) off Manastash Ridge. For a few days this summer, it was relaying K276GF in Pendleton OR with a weak signal, when KYKV's 103.1 went down. K276GF is // KTIX-1240, 'The Outlaw' classic country.
KLRF Milton-Freewater OR (Religion) can be heard when K203EN is blocked, or on very high mountains. I have also heard KYVT Yakima w/ NWPB, on top of Lion Rock (6300+), and KOMQ Omak (KPBX NPR) in the Manastash Lake area, 19 mi W of town.

KJLJ Scott City KS (KJIL/CCM) is the only Eskip signal heard here, during a massive opening on 7/7/20. It was heard near Lost Lake/Manastash Lake west of town. I did get another 88.5 Es signal during one of the July 2021 openings... a NOAA EAS warning mentioning the panhandle of Texas, and I still need to check the tape to find out who that was.

East Tennessee: Mostly splatter from previously mentioned WYLV-88.3. However, it's possible to pull a signal in from Eastern Kentucky University's WEKF, Corbin.

Retro/other: Dayton, Ohio: Semi-local signal from WMUB, Oxford OH.

Merry Christmas ZantennaG1!

SE Michigan near Detroit:

Nothing closeby on this frequency, 1st adjacent is local CIMX at 88.7 MHz. Several different signals are visitors however--

WCTP Gagetown, MI (Thumb area). Weak here but usually receivable, even from the car. ~100 miles.

WGVU-FM Allendale, MI (Grand Rapids). Once in a great while. ~140 miles.

WYSU Youngstown, OH. Common here even under normal conditions. ~160 miles.

South Mississippi:

WJFM Baton Rouge, LA (SonLife Radio) is the most common. Tropo has brought in:
WBHY Mobile, AL
WUSM Hattiesburg, MS - University of Southern Mississippi, adult album alternative
KEOM Mesquite, TX "Mesquite Schools Radio", classic hits

This has been a good frequency for e-skip:
KTEP El Paso, TX - NPR, first station I ever received by e-skip in April 2020
KJLJ Scott City, KS
WGNV Milladore, WI "88.5 The Family" (Christian contemporary)
WYSU Youngstown, OH - NPR
WAMU Washington, DC - NPR
