FM Talk Returns to NW FL

FM Talk seems to really be taking over big. I'm from Atlanta and when N/T 750 WSB went FM, it was huge and sounded great.

Wow, I just learned that the Seabreeze is one of 14 Smooth Jazz stations left in the USA... Yesterday I would have guessed there might be 14 Smooth Jazz stations in Florida alone.

I know plenty of PC Beach and FWB radio stations serve the area, but 106.3 really is the only local station for South Walton/30A. Smooth Jazz seems like an odd choice for a one radio station market. If there were two or more stations targeting South Walton/30A, I wouldn't even ask this question... Is Smooth Jazz the best format (costs/revenue wise) for this station or is it just the format the owner has a passion for?

Since DJ's from around the USA are Voice Tracking for the Seabreeze and it's all being done in-house, it makes me wonder if Catts from Mobile has ever had a show on 106.3? He's so close it seems like a natural fit... and he would be a face/voice that could easily and inexpensively drive over for special appearances.
