Not at all. I once heard Limbaugh do an entire hour on quantum physics, taking calls from scientists, Fascinating stuff. Actually, each of the top talk show hosts (Beck, Rush, Hannity, Levin, and Savage) come up with thought-provoking insights on a regular basis. Here is a suggestion. Try listening to them to see which one is easiest to tolerate. You might be surprised. Oh, good news about the college lectures! I was listening to Kim Komando last weekend (non-political, but the most listened to weekend talk show host in America - check your local listings) and she said that the big universities make college lectures available on I-Tunes. All's well that ends well...Leebo65 said:DocWashburn said:Yes, I think you have summed it up nicely - what has actually happened (and is happening) in the real world; brevity being the sole of wit, and all...quadraphonic said:Didn't the radio industry get away from lectures and packaged courses back in the 20s when it was mostly experimental and the playground of colleges of engineers and interested parties like that?
They never seem to have gone back to it, and probably for good reason.![]()
