Mabye we should go to New Orleans.

15 Urban stations, 2 Rockers, mabye a rimshot country, and oh yeah, 75% of the city is still looking like crap after a Hurricane destroyed it 2 years ago. :D

;D Sure... if it fit with our demographics... If that's the case, I have a feeling we may have 15 spanish stations instead!

We're almost there, there are 14 Spanish language formated stations in the Phoenix metro (KNAI, KRUC, KVIB, KLNZ, KHOT, KOMR, KDVA,KVVA, KMIA, KIDR, KCKY, KNUV, KSUN, & KASA).

And KMVP as of a couple of weeks ago. Since KNAI is only part-time, we actually have 14 1/2 Spanish-language stations.

You are forgetting KHOV (simulcast with KHOT) and KQMR (simulcast KOMR). I can't find a KRUC in AZ, so that is one less.

KRUC is actually in McAllen, Texas, but it broadcasts via translator (K216FO) "Radio Manatial" on 91.1 fm in Phoenix, so add it back. :)

Plus it's "non-commercial"....if ANYONE believes that!

No one does- they have more "spots" and "brought to you by" gimmicks than commercial radio. And they are very popular.

And profitable. Woe be the FCC inspector who writes up the United Farm Workers!
