Having only listened to Talk Radio for the last few years, I had forgotten just how much Collective Soul and the Foo Fighters suck. Holy Christ wagons that is bad music.

It's good to have them back. Two things, though. Lose the incessant background track and just give up on playing music during the show. The music segments really disrupt the flow of the show.

Oh, and have someone rerecord the "3 Things" Theme so the show is totally Eric free.

Eric is the only thing that kept their show together. And I think that's pretty obvious by the fact that they have to rely on his production and same old format.

I think the most amusing thing that happened today were the advertisers taking pot shots at Russ this afternoon. Will from Apple Moving saying "Finally, an intelligent afternoon show in Dallas-Fort Worth in the afternoons." The guy from HSM referring to the "critters from their old home." I loved it. It's going to take a little while for them to get their rhythm at the new station with the different format but I think they'll be fine as time goes by.

I also left out that they treated Eric like crap, they didn't give him the credit he deserved for making their show what it is, they over-worked him constantly, and he would probably never leave a place where he is loved and respected to go to a show and a station that wouldn't pay him what he is making now and a station/show that is very low on the Dallas radio totem pole... but don't let that ruin your day.

Sybil left that show cause she out grew it. Also she was not treated with the respect that she deserved. That show took a serious hit that it NEVER recovered from. She left and never looked back. She is also to much of a lady to bad talk them in public. I say it every time I miss her laugh.

Well said. Sybil also has her own business that continues to grow (Rock Star Promotions) AND is working for NASCAR and Texas Motor Speedway. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing her doing live reports on ESPN or Speed Channel from the pits some day soon.

Literally? So, there was, literally, 4 hours of dead air? What an over used word.
If they are going to go so far as to taunt Russ on their website, they should have at least some follow up. Otherwise they just look silly.
