I have several hours' worth of tape from the market in the early-mid 1990s.WTMC-1290 when it was still a music station, etc.

Drew - I would love to hear all the WTMC air-checks you have... Is there any chance I can get copies?

Sure. But first, I have to get up to Minnesota and get them out of storage. I recorded WTMC (and everyone else) when I first arrived in Ocala. That was May, 1991. If I remember correctly, WTMC was running an A/C format. WMOP-AM 900 was also still live and local, playing country music. Somewhere, I have a bunch of "All American WMOP" bumper stickers.

If you happen to have any "All American Country" air-checks, I'd like have copies of those, too, if you don't mind. WTMC is the main one I would like to have since WTMC is the very first station I was PD. I held down the PM drive fort in the late 70s and very early 80s. The studios and offices were still located at 321 South Magnolia Avenue through the time you arrived in Ocala. That was a fun station in those days.
