Mike 93.7 claimed to play everything but they simply had a range of music that was mostly rock-pop,
some R&B, usually uptempo good time--and at first they threw in stuff like country (Garth Brooks),
standards (Dean Martin), and what Barry would call Lost 45s (Sausolito Summernight by Diesel).
Eventually the playlist narrowed--the number of songs and the focus. Still a couple comedy tracks
(Weird Al's Eat It), maybe Ramones I Wanna Be Sedated etc. but overall stuff you could find on
other stations: U2, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Prince, Police, Blondie, Semisonic, etc. I joked "We play everything...the other stations play". Yeah, it was listenable but it was not "everything". It was not Muddy Waters, The Chieftains, Kenny Chesney, Peter Nero...well, whatever. Maybe slightly more variety but again by the end it was more classic hits/rock.
oh btw they did take down the Mike 93.7 page that was up before and put up a "thank you" page
with info for their club members (points transferred to similar clubs for AAF and EEI)
