Format Change Coming To Dallas

Its just the power increase to 25,000 watts on their daytime pattern.

I remember something being said about contracts too. A signal upgrade could be it, but that's already been filed with the FCC. I wouldn't think they'd be tight-lipped about that.

I just stumbled on this forum when googling IBOC.

Anyway, I was listening to the Ticket on Friday morning, maybe Thursday morning, and the Musers were talking about station frequencies. Out of nowhere, Gordo mentioned that they might have a big announcement about frequencies soon.

I just thought I'd throw that in. I don't know what it means, but it sounds like the little ticket is involved somehow.

Looks like they have pretty good coverage at 9kw...will 25kw really help that much?

Even at 50k, I have trouble listening to WBAP or KRLD at my Irving office with all the concrete, steel & electronics throughout the building.

Best bet for listening to any AM station at work is the online stream - unless your network guys block it at the firewall.
