Format change? Crush to go Top 40 and bring in Brian and Chrissy?

Not to infer that Brian & Chrissy would make the move should the offer be made to switch from FLY to CRUSH but here are some points in reference to the previous posts:
-Mason & Sheehan moved from PYX's huge signal on 106.5 to the relatively pea-shooter sized signal
on 102.3FM which immediately shrunk their potential cume. I don't recall but it seems that there
might have been some talent cooperation issues, too.
-When Chuck & Kelly were hired away from B95.5, the intention was to immediately launch them on the 105.7 signal. But there was an FCC hangup which delayed the launch of the 105.7 signal so their show was parked on 104.5 for several months. There was a management decision to not promote the show's change of venue until it moved to the new signal and that cost them the street buzz & top-of-mind awareness which would have evolved had the marketing for the show started right after Chuck & Kelly left B95. Instead, a situation was created where WYJB's AM drive listeners were given enough time to develop an acceptance of Ric Mitchell's show.
So, it's not a foregone conclusion that moving from the 92.3 to the 105.7 signal would prove to be a failure for Brian & Chrissy.

I think Brian and Chrissy go well on fly 92.3 but to bring in another TOP 40 station by town square media that's outrageous there is already two top 40 stations in the market except town square not having one, unless they want to get into the competition between clear channel and ABC.
no matter what they should change formats on Crush FM but I was thinking more Adult CHR or Adult Contemporary, maybe even another Rhythmic CHR or AC Station. I was listening to Terry on Crush today he doesn't like it I can tell the way he sounds.

Brian & Chrissy will have no problem making the morning show a success on Crush. They bring advertisers and credibility to the station the second they walk through the door.
Fly 92 is going to take a big hit. Who do they bring in? Candy & Potter? That would be an interesting battle to see shake out.
What other shows would work for Fly 92?
On Chuck & Kelly note. I'm sure they are nice people, but their best show would be Brian & Chrissy's worst show. Just sayin.

WKKF has been playing more 1995-2005 material lately, as well as more pop rock and alternative (think Paramore, Kings of Leon, Lady Antebellum, and the like) that they didn't play on the station just two or so years ago... wonder if they're shifting to Adult CHR myself 
But yea, Albany can support a second Rhythmic or Urban, why didn't TSM choose to compete against Jamz instead of Fly?

That's not going to happen. WQSH's "Crush-FM" is not going "Top 40" anytime soon. I listened to a little bit, but it doesn't come out well in Kingston, because of that interference with WKZE's translator W290BZ at 105.9 which is 2 kw down which is located in Red Hook. I listened to it for the first months in January, and it had a good signal which is near Kingston had some spots, but then it got splattered by WKZE's translator which was about a month later due to a frequency move from 99.1 to 105.9, but it's a terrible move from moving W290BZ's frequency and put it on the bat. WKZE's translator is a waste of garbage. I want to see WKZE's translator pull the plug at 105.9 and leave 98.1 alone. We don't want WKZE's translator in Red Hook to interfere with "Crush-FM" at 105.7. All we have to do is get 105.9 off the air for good.
Crush FM is spotty at times depending on where you are, I think they need an upgrade in there wattage.
I find a lot of the morning show hosts that are successful these days tend to be couples male and female that are married and in the biz together this makes a good one one one conversation and can relate to each other and the radio audience.
mark and meredith there not related therefore they can't really bounce off one another same with chuck and laura ,where as brian and chrissy can relate because there a couple. I also find radio stations using one women for the morning shows as well.
fly 92 used to have two afternoon drive hosts john foxx and christy taylor that was a good team although they weren't related. fly 92 only does 1 afternoon drive host marissa alot of cutting back has been done to save money. tough times for radio stations here in capital region.

There will be changes, Terry didn't come over just to do a show. Mark maybe should go to B95, that might work. Meredith could go back to midday but ???? Crush needs a unknow new team to grow as they need to fit the format. One thing will be for sure is if the money doesn't come in then there're be another change. Terry has a fairly good ship to run but he needs to make it perform and make money.
oh my bad kbradio I thought they were a couple they act like they are together that's for sure, but candy and potter is a couple and they were also friends, I think being real good friends and relating to an on-air audience can make you really good morning show hosts.

Mark Vanness for mornings or evenings on B95, Bug? I'd recommend dumping Delilah and replacing with John Tesh or going local in evenings
something tells me B95 is gonna change formats after xmas and change there lineup, will have to see what Crush FM does too if they truly go Top 40 CHR like reporter stated is possible.
