Format change? Crush to go Top 40 and bring in Brian and Chrissy?

I would doubt that WYJB would change formats. It's a major cash cow for PAMAL.
 
I have just heard that Terry is in the move of changing what he calls the penske file on Crush FM so expect some changes over the next few weeks maybe into november 2011. Hopefully it's for the better we shall see

My guess, the only one who stays is Ellen on the full time. Darwin replaces Darcy and they would ad more pters...
 
here is my prediction darwin is digital program director so he won't want to replace darcy, ellen will stay , and they will try and get brian and chrissy for mornings possible. but no matter what on-air personality's goes or stays Terry will change formats in some form or another.
 
I agree danikayser84 Rhythmic/Urban CHR or CHR Top 40 to compete with fly 92 or jamz 96.3 what route they take is anyone's guess at this point. But those two would be the best routes to take.

penske file= Imaginary/nonexistent project

Terry and Dan will come up with a way to change Crush FM for the Better when is the big Change ? more likely before or after the new year however depending on his progression this could happen next month.

Fly 92 progress will be interesting and so will B95.5 , radio competition is changing in the albany radio market.
 
I don't think he will J-Will loves jamz 96.3 , it be strange to see if crush goes Urban because he would be competing against his son.
 
Oh, will they change the branding too? I'd like Hot 105.7 or Power 105.7, or 105.7 the Beat (is WABT still available?) for a Rhythmic/Urban format :)
 
105.7 the Beat love it:) changes are on there way , i see Crush FM added darwin as a back up to cover shifts so this could mean some changes coming

Thanks for asking. I do believe she'll go back to Fly. She was very comfortable at Fly and has tons of friends. It all depends on how she left over there. Good terms, etc. Since she left, there's going to be a new PD and a new GM (Mr. Benfer) I don't think she's comfortable at Crush.
 
I think B95.5 is going under a makeover to HOT AC because I just read a friend of mines profile who works for B95.5 and it says HOT AC , So I am thinking there gonna switch from AC to HOT AC toward or after xmas.
 
I think Darcy is best suited for Fly 92 then Crush I think she might make the switch , I am waiting to see what changes Terry and Dan will make at TSM seems to be changing rapidly.

will see major changes at B95,Fly 92 & Crush FM by years end or beginning of the new year
 
I don't know about you guys, but B95 is not "Soft "rock. It's been a few months anyways...The hint was when they played "Livin' on a Prayer" and that song is NOT soft...

I also think they are seeing the success The River is having, they to are Hot AC. I believe anyways.

Didn't I tell you when Dan Austin became the GM of Townsquare Media, it was gonna be fun??? !!!! Now with Terry O'Donnell at PD, holy crap...Get ready for a fun ride!!
 
Actually, in 2011, "Livin' On A Prayer" can be classified as Soft Rock in the sense that it has appeal to 35-44 year old women.
