I've noticed that i93hits.com has been registered with ENOM, Inc. All Cumulus domoains are registered with that as well...
All Access is reporting that the call letters will be changed to KLIF-FM.
Wikipedia - "The call letters KLIF achieved recognition in radio broadcasting through the efforts of Gordon McLendon. The station which formerly broadcast music and talk on 1190 AM, was Dallas' and one of the nation's biggest Top 40 radio stations. It virtually defined 1950s and 1960s Top 40 radio. Playing Top 40 music during the 1950s and 1960s, it achieved an over 50 share, an unparalleled ratings success."
At the bottom of the "stunting" is the Top40 segment. And of course everyone notices the reference to the "legends"...The Legendary KLIF would be back alive with the "Top40" music. I really doubt a 50 share would be possible again.
And of course the I in KLIF would go nicely with i93, eh?

I'm on board with everything you are saying but can you explain the Batman drops?

I hope I am wrong...but am willing to bet I am not...do hope Philpot is right....
Could the Legends they are referring to be Musers and Hardline? They are legends in the market!

Jimmy McNulty said:well, I wouldn't know about what KLIF played back "in the day" but I have to ask is it a viable format? The Ticket's revenue is down 40% and Cumulus is down 30%...so if you take the best and most popular station in your cluster and simulcast on Fm to compete against the other 2 FM sports stations and cut your cost (the Bone) more money for the Dickeys. Let's face it Cumulus is in trouble and they need the Ticket to get back to the top 5 billing status they have had last few years. Not going to happen with a Top 40 station

Now we know that it won't happened because I talked to Dan's assistant and she told me that the Ticket is staying where it's at.
